Two versions for how it started vs. how it's going
We'll have to wait and see if the first one ends up canon, as rumored for Season 2 of #TheMandalorian after such heavy hinting in Episode 5 of Season 1
(As you may know, he escaped in the E.U. / Legends, but he doesn't yet escape in the new canon. See http://j.mp/BobaFettDeadOrAlive for the Fett Facts.)
This piece by Denis Loebner was a Challenge Survivor (aka finalist) in the 2016 ILM Art Department Challenge on ArtStation. See all the Fett fan art finalists at http://bit.ly/2cpLmAs.
#ThrowbackThursday: "#BobaFett Escapes the Sarlacc Pit" by Kyle Petchock
He doesn't yet escape in the new canon (see http://j.mp/BobaFettDeadOrAlive for the Fett facts), so let's all enjoy the times in the E.U. and fan art where he escaped.
How do you think #BobaFett should escape the Almighty Sarlacc?
Artist Jonathan Lau presents Fett emerging victorious.
In the new canon, he's neither dead nor alive. See http://j.mp/BobaFettDeadOrAlive for a crash course, including old comics, recent video games, and new books.
#ThrowbackThursday: "Aftermath" by Chuck Wendig (2015) had Jawas come across Mandalorian armor after the Battle at Sarlacc Pit -- although it was not confirmed to be from #BobaFett.
"Picking Up The Pieces" by ChuckleTree is a humorous take on that moment in the book. Wendig's sequel to the book, #StarWars Life Debt, is coming out July 12, 2016.
"Fett's Not Dead" is a new #BobaFett-inspired design, now available on apparel via TeePublic: http://j.mp/1XVRvms
The design comes from BluGhost aka Ryan Spencer, who makes the "Mini-Wars" #StarWars figurines, and has a design giving a nod to Image Comics' The Walking Dead #48. (Footnote: Is Boba Fett dead or alive? In the new canon, it's neither. See http://j.mp/BobaFettDeadOrAlive for the Fett facts since 1983.) #StarWars#BobaFettFanClub
