As you may know, before Boba Fett had his distinct look for "Empire," his costume evolved from a white supertrooper concept-turned-prototype. Many #StarWars collectibles recently have done this variant look, including a recent Walgreens exclusive (also from Funko) with the all-white Boba Fett.

These are selling fast, so call ahead. Ask for the clerk to check a WIC (Walgreens Item Code) number: 907618. That's the number for the entire POP assortment. Then ask for "Boba Fett (Prototype)." According to our contact at Walgreens, they "have more coming and will continue to replenish for a year." #
Note that the first wave in stores does not include an "exclusive" sticker, but future waves will. This figure was also sold early to a Funko vendor in Australia, Popcultcha.

This comes to us from the inside and, since they're huge Fett fans, the Boba Fett Fan Club got the scoop!
The figure is part of a four figure exclusive #StarWars classic wave. We're told that Walgreens will be ordering a ton and the plan is to keep it on shelves for at least a year.
This also marks our 500th photo-of-the-day in as many days in a row. Woo-hoo!

View on InstagramAnnounced at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con yesterday is Hasbro's new #JangoFett, which is part of the line called "The Black Series." He's been pictured masked and unmasked, but it's unclear if the head (or just the helmet) pops off.
This follows the White Prototype Boba Fett (Walgreens exclusive), a 4-Pack set (Walgreens Mexico exclusive), the single Boba Fett release, and the Boba Fett / Han Solo in Carbonite (SDCC 2013 Exclusive). See them all at http://bobafett.com/bounty/toys/black-series/

View on InstagramIN CASE YOU MISSED IT: This limited edition Black Series Prototype #BobaFett lithograph had a limited edition of 1,500 and were given away as part of Hasbro Mexico's Star Wars Black Series launch event on October 17th.
The announcement included the news that Walmart would be the exclusive distributor in Mexico of the Black Series toys, presumably including the Walgreens exclusive (U.S. only) Black Series version of Prototype Boba Fett. (Helmet nod to MercadoLibre for the great photo of this and to Yakface.com for contributing to the reportage.)
