Throwback to Star Wars Insider #30 (1996) running this photo of #BobaFett with their publisher Dan Madsen (and former president of the official Star Wars Fan Club), confirmed to be taken at Skywalker Ranch

If it was the "Star Wars Summit" in 1994, then it was Mark Austin in the costume, as he did the event in this costume and later did the Docking Bay 94 scene for #StarWars: Special Edition (1997)

On January 31, 1997, #BobaFett was in the first #StarWars: Special Edition in a new scene

"George [Lucas] chose the last take in both shoots. I had many fans ask me why I looked at camera. I didn't. I was told to span as far round to cam as I could. If you could see my eyes they are cranked to screen right," notes Mark Austin, who portrayed Boba Fett in this scene, which was initially filmed November 4, 1994

#ThisDayInHistory: Ben Burtt, responsible for the sound effects of #BobaFett and his ship, was born on this day in 1948.

"To create the sound for the Slave I, Ben Burtt did what he always did whenever he had to create a sound for a spaceship: look at how the ship was designed, how it looked like, how fast it would move, and what it could do. For the takeoff sound of the Slave I, Burtt combined a trumpet's whine with the horn of his own 1971 Dodge Duster while it was on a desert road." -- StarWars.com

In this clip, he's shown with Duwayne Dunham (left) who wore the Prototype Boba Fett costume for a screen test, hosted by Ben.

"A Field Guide to #BobaFett's Mandalore Armor" was included in the debut issue of #StarWars Galaxy Magazine in 1994. "His armor includes a helmet that has A) a macrobinocular viewplate, B) infrared capabilities, C) motion and sound sensors, D) an internal comlink to Slave I, E) a broad-band antenna for intercepting and decoding transmissions and F) an external targeting rangefinder. Wrist gauntlets house G) lasers, H) a miniature flame projector, I) a corded fuel line for flame projector, J) a mini concussion rocket and K) a fibercord whip/grappling device. Boba's jet pack includes L) main rocket thrusters, M) directional thrusters and N) a turbo-projected magnetic grappling hook with a 20-meter lanyard. The outfit is completed by O) knee-pad rocket dart launchers, spiked boots, P) a concussion grenade launcher, Q) a BlasTech EE-3 rifle and R) braided Wookiee scalps over the shoulder. #ThrowbackThursday: #BobaFett appeared on Mos Eisley in Docking Bay 94 for a few moments alongside Jabba the Hutt, Han Solo, and the Millennium Falcon.

Some trivia: Fett's left shoulder is mysteriously missing its usual symbol; the armor colors more so resembles "Jedi" rather than "Empire," even though that would be out of order (unless Fett perhaps carries multiple sets of armor with him in the cargo hold); and, making the rounds again online, this appearance would connect the possibility that Fett actually torched Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru, later warranting Darth Vader's comment to Fett later on, "no disintegrations" (this time).
