View on Instagram#ThisDayInHistory: Ben Burtt, responsible for the sound effects of #BobaFett and his ship, was born on this day in 1948.
"To create the sound for the Slave I, Ben Burtt did what he always did whenever he had to create a sound for a spaceship: look at how the ship was designed, how it looked like, how fast it would move, and what it could do. For the takeoff sound of the Slave I, Burtt combined a trumpet's whine with the horn of his own 1971 Dodge Duster while it was on a desert road." -- StarWars.com

In the 4th draft (October 24, 1978), one of #BobaFett's lines: "I am in no hurry, Lord Vader. My concern is that Captain Solo not be damaged. The reward from Jabba the Hutt pays double if he's alive." Another one: "But the chamber is for power goods. What if he doesn't survive? This slime is worth a lot to me..." The 6th draft (March 19, 1979) had all the ones we know and love.
