#TheMandalorian's Brian Sipe, Alexei Dmitriew, Samantha Ward, and Scott Stoddard won a Make-Up and Hair Guild Award for Best Special Makeup Effects, which included #BobaFett's post-Sarlacc appearance, played by Temuera Morrison

We live tweeted the event yesterday, grabbing a few key moments shown here including Temuera introducing part of the show and then later announcing the award in which he happened to be a winner by association

Helmet nod to Local 706 for streaming the awards show for free to the general public; great to see so many notable guests like Eddie Murphy, Glenn Close, Anthony Anderson, Scarlett Johansson, Ming-Na Wen, and many more on the broadcast

#MandalorianMonday: Daniel Logan got another fitting with fan-made #BobaFett armor.

According to Wasted Fett, who's leading the project and loaned some of his armor for this quick photo shoot over the weekend, Logan's own complete set is about 70% complete. Each screen-accurate piece will have been donated by different members of The Dented Helmet group.

Slave I

This Amazon exclusive "Empire" Slave I from 2013 originally retailed for $70 and dipped as low as $35 that holiday season. It's now common to find for 3x or more retail price in mint condition.

The ship was a re-paint of an earlier "The Clone Wars" Slave I from 2010 and the Han Solo in Carbonite was a re-paint of the "The Saga Collection" version from 2006. A #BobaFett figure was not included in the box. "The Vintage Collection" intentionally had packaging to resemble the original look from 1980 with some slight changes.

This inspired take on Boba Fett comes with a movable helmet scope, a Japanese sword accessory, replacement left and right wrists, removable missile jetpack, and removable shin tools. The figure begins shipping this November and retails for 9,504 Yen, or about $76 U.S. dollars. It's 6.6" (170mm) tall and made of PVC.

The figure was first announced at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, which we covered from the floor on April 21st.

When this match-up began, #BobaFett led with 66% of the vote. Hours later, the lead fell to 23%. Throughout Saturday, according to our monitoring, Boba climbed back steadily without irregularity to reach 39% of the vote. We had the likes of Daniel Logan, Freddie Prinze Jr., and even William Shatner giving shout-outs for Boba. Then, hours later as the United States began to fall asleep, 9% of that gain disappeared with no social media track record of any push for vote to #TeamJango.

Last year, Boba Fett had 70% of the vote when he faced Jango. Both last year and this year, the starwars.com poll appears to have used browser cookies to track votes. Deleting the cookie may be allowing repeat votes.
