I like when Yoda throws his lightsaber into the chest of one of the Clone Troopers.

When Anakin "sanitized" the Tusken Raider camp.

Greedo's death...Its fun to argue about...

i agree w/maltese kentaiba.... i would say mace because i loathed him.... i guess my real favorite would be jangos because he saw his death coming but he kept fighting... idk i just like it. vader had a pansys death.  Luke:"father please help me"
Vader: "duh ok"
ZAP!!!!
Vader:"ouch im good now"

i thought mauls death was kinda lame... obi wan lands in front of him, and maul just stands there looking at him like an idiot.... dont get me wrong, i think the lightsaber fight kicked major ass, but still...

i dont consider boba fett dead, but if you did, i think his 'death' was by far the lamest....
Blind idiot: "BOBA FETT!?! where?"
Fett:"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!"

oh well like i said boba isnt dead.

dooku had a lame death.... begging for mercy!?!?!?! wtf? oh well at least he didnt die in the movie he was introduced in like most star wars baddies.... emperor had a lame death, too....

Emperor :"Wah? Vader???  *gets thrown off cliff* how could you have been manipulated so easilyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...."

and last but not least, greivous. he kicked so much ass in clone wars, but sucked in episode three....

sorry if i offended any one, i was just stating my opinion... feel free to insult me all you want.

I like the way Dooku bought it. The way he goads Anakin on during thier fight, only to have him release the full fury off his swordfighting prowess. The way Anakin effortlessly cuts his hands off and holds the sabers in the scissor position at Dooku's throat, just waiting for an excuse to show this old fart who the real tough guy is. He made the whole movement look so easy.

I would have to say that the one death scene that stuck out to me was Jabba's death.

To look into that helmet's concealing visor was to meet a gaze as ruthless and unsentimental as his own...-Prince Xizor

I like the Jek Porkins malfuntining X-Wing in ANH, that one is always good for a laugh. But the one I like most is when Vader uses the force chock on Admiral Ozzel, then promotes Captin Piet to Admiral. With the ending line
".... you are in command now Admiral." as Ozzel falls to the floor dead.

With me it is a toss up between Greedo's death and Jango's.

Why Greedo was a looser who needed to get fried anyway, Jango should have stuck arround and been killed by the Emporor when he was no longer needed with something better like force lightning.

I must say I agree, Jango would've had Grievous unleashed on him, and after he had defeated Grievous, he would've been severely wounded and finished off by Droidekas. Or there's a slim chance Jango would've escaped somehow.

I can picture Jar Jar's death now: Been thrown into a Giant Blender, after torturing the senate and Palaptine by just been himself

I don't think Jango could defeat Grievous.  Grievous had Obi-wan almost beaten.  Had it not been for the force Obi would have bit it.  It would be close but Grievous would have pulled it out.  I'm not sure who has a better Jedi kill count though.

Jabba's death is my fav for two reasons.

First, he was absolutely foul and had it coming to him.

But the main reason I like his death scene is because a Leia kills him.
Always glad to see a woman take matters into her own hands!
Forget the damsel in distress routine....

Come on now!  Pull that chain, put your back into it woman!  You can do it!  DIE DIE DIE!!!!!!
He made your man into a wall hanging!
He tried to feed your brother to the Rancor!
He put you in that stupid metal bikini thing and dragged you around at the end of a chain!

Kill him KILL HIM!

er.......sorry.  Got carried away...  :p

Actually, Boba kills the Sarlacc and crawls out.

take it easy baby take it as it comes
April 8, 2007 5:30 pm #

Besides, even if Fett didn't escape, he didn't die either; the Sarlacc takes 1,000 years to digest prey. So technically, Boba doesn't die either way.

That is almost definatly an exageration. How would anyone know how long it took to digest its food?

They said so in the actual film.

C-3PO: "His high exaltedness, the great Jabba the Hutt has decreed you will be terminated immedaitely. You will therefore be taken to the Dune Sea and cast into the pit of Carkoon, the nesting place of the all-powerful Sarlacc.
In his belly, you will find a new definition of pain and suffering, as you are slowly digested over a thousand years."

Han Solo: "On second thought, let's pass on that, huh?"

Direct quote from the film.

"Everyone has the right to be stupid, but you are abusing the privilege."
April 8, 2007 6:29 pm #

Chances are, that is an exageration, or folklore. I do not see how they could have possibly found out how long it takes it for it to digest its food.

Hey George Lucas wrote the dialogue ok

I know. What I am sayin is that the thousand years of digestion is likely an exageration or folklore within the Star Wars universe, just as we have folklore such as the Men in Black, or Mothmen.

How do you think that they know that it takes a thousand years to digest one victim? I would really like to know.

Isn't it obvious? They threw somebody in, then they wrote down the date. 1 thousand years later the descendants yelled down into the Sarlacc "You still being digested?!" and the man answered, "YES!!"

Problem solved.

Good... Bad... I'm the one with the gun.

I don't know, when Boba got out he didn't look so hot. Near death, barely alive in less than a year mind you. I'd say it feels like a thousand years rather than actually digesting that long. Or, there's a biological compound in the beast capable of keeping a sentient that would normally die around the 100's or so alive for a 1,000 years just so it can digest something. Slowly eating away at the host, it's supposed to be a plant if you believe those nutty Tusken Raiders.

I don't think you can find one more than one on the same planet. But yet again, it's another legend from those funny loving Tusken Raiders.

Databank wrote:

The Sarlacc has been a puzzle to xenobiologists for years. Very few specimens exist, the largest being on Tatooine. The creature is so remote and so dangerous that extended study has yet to be deemed worthwhile.
The Sarlacc defies easy taxonomic classification. While evidence strongly supports it being an animal, many scientists point to its anchored root-system and spore-based method of reproduction as evidence of plant origin.

On the few planets where Sarlaccs are found, legends have arisen regarding the creature. The fanciful tale of a "thousand year" torment inside the Sarlacc's digestive system may be more fact than fiction, however. Evidence exists of a fibrous network of vessels that attach themselves to a swallowed victim, grotesquely incorporating the being into the Sarlacc's own biological system. Such immersion is accompanied by mind-altering neurotoxins which keep the victim docile. The hallucinations coaxed by the toxins suggest that the Sarlacc somehow absorbs the intelligence of all its victims, who live on in disembodied torment.

These reports are allegedly from the only person known to survive being swallowed by a Sarlacc -- the bounty hunter Boba Fett. His iron will and Mandalorian armor kept him alive inside the beast, and his weapons-covered suit afforded him escape from agony. It would be years before both Fett's body and reputation recovered from the Sarlacc.

But we're probably getting off topic.

I liked how Vader died.  He went out as a hero, the way the Anakin side of him would've liked.  Although, the Vader side was cooler.

He was only nice once he turned to the light side.  My brothers don't like Sith, and whenever we play Jedi Outcast, guess who they team up on?  Me.  Anyways, Vader's death was my favourite, but Maul's isn't far behind.
