I couldn't be more proud in a way. ^_^
"Star Wars" didn't start this. Plenty of other media before it had characters appear in one form of the media, then move over to another.
In this context, I think it's an example of one small move transferring medias before its time and becoming very, very, very successful. And it makes for a catchy presentation.
