"Best Special Make-Up Effects in a TV Series" Win for "The Mandalorian" at 2021 MUAHS Awards
The 8th Annual Make-up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards featured Temuera Morrison in the pre-show and later introducing the “Best Special Make-Up Effects in a TV Series” award, won by Brian Sipe, Alexei Dmitriew, Samantha Ward, and Scott Stoddard. Their work involved many characters from Season 2 of the series, including Boba Fett’s post-Sarlacc appearance, played by Temuera Morrison.
Helmet nod to Local 706 for streaming the awards show for free to the general public. Great to see so many notable guests like Eddie Murphy, Glenn Close, Anthony Anderson, Scarlett Johansson, Ming-Na Wen, and many more on the broadcast.
