Topps Star Wars Galaxy 2 #213 (Boba Fett Unmasked by Dan Brereton)
Artwork by Dan Brereton.
"I was asked to do a Star Wars card for a Topps set in 1993. I asked if I could paint Boba Fett without his mask -- they approved the result and it was used more than once. What was interesting to note was how popular this image was with fans, despite the fact that Topps, Lucasfilm and myself didn't really care that it wasn't the "true" reveal of Fett, rather than the idea of a young fan's vision of what was under the mask." -- Artist Statement on ComicArtFans.com
Now with Cobb Vanth in "The Mandalorian" Season 2 Episode 1, some fans are wondering if there's an intentional similarity to this artwork for Cobb's appearance.
