In 1979, well before his debut in "The Empire Strikes Back," #BobaFett got a lot of attention just from his mail-away toy, even without the firing rocket.

Here's one of the apology postcards sent out to early bird fans who mailed away for the free figure, but had to wait a little longer to get the revised figure.
