The author notes Boba Fett as having a black-marked silver helmet, which might stem from the evolution of the all-white "prototype" armor and how we ended up with the silver-armored Ben Cooper costume for kids, versus his look in his first film
Also, this book may be the first mention of "Slave I" in published writing, as it was previously written out on concept art as "Boba Fett's ship"
