In this version, which some Boba Fett fans find controversial, Lucasfilm / George Lucas decided to change the voice of Boba Fett to match Boba Fett's father, Jango Fett.
Temuera Morrison re-recorded Boba Fett's lines, replacing the original ones voiced by Jason Wingreen from 1980. Listen to the differences in Boba Fett's voices.
The engine noises for Slave I were also changed to match Episode II, rather than the 1980 original.
This edition marked the first time the original trilogy was released on DVD.
This also contains a Special Feature featuring an Ewok "home movie" including Boba Fett. Episodes IV thru VI is the original trilogy and not including the "prequels."
This version does NOT have the Star Wars Holiday Special feature on a bonus disc. It is only sold with the Complete Saga version on Blu-ray.
