Dave Stevens assisted Russ, who fell ill during this particular newspaper strip series. Rick Hoberg did ink work.

Later re-published in full color by Dark Horse Comics for "Classic Star Wars: The Early Adventures #9" (1995) and, with some minor touch-ups, again in "Classic Star Wars: The Early Adventures Volume 4" (2012) and Star Wars: The Classic Newspaper Comics Volume 1 (2017).
