Sold as early as September 23, 1980. Cover dated December 1980. Cover price was 50 cents.

Re-printed in Marvel Illustrated Books: Star Wars #2, Star Wars: Omnibus - A Long Time Ago, and Star Wars: Original Marvel Years Omnibus #1.

Variant: barcode (meaning the newsstand release) or no barcode (featuring a Spider-Man graphic).

Synopsis by TheForce.Net Comic:

Aboard Executor, Piett is annoyed when Vader hires bounty hunters Boba Fett, Bossk (from Trandoshan), Dengar (a Borg), Zuckuss (from Gand), 4-LOM (an Industrial Automation protocol droid), and IG-88 (a Holowan Mechanicals assassin droid) to find the Falcon... Avenger dumps garbage before jumping to lightspeed and Han disengages the Falcon , letting the garbage conceal it, then heads for the Bespin System to seek help from Lando Calrissian. However, Boba Fett follows in his Kuat Systems Firespray-class ship, Slave 1.

    I'm lucky to have purchased this at my local news stand when I was a child. I am always so surprised that it is in nice condition considering I was only about 6 years old then. One of my favorite comic books in my collection.
