Overview

This comic is a re-print of the original "Star Wars" newspaper strip, which included Boba Fett's first comic appearance called "The Frozen World of Ota."

The storyline originally had Fett panels in the newspaper between June 19, 1980 and August 10, 1980 in black and white plus some in color. This Dark Horse Comics version re-colored everything with consistent styles plus laid the art out differently like a comic book, not the original newspaper style.

Re-published in "Classic Star Wars: The Early Adventures Volume 4" (2012) and Star Wars: The Classic Newspaper Comics Volume 1 (2017).

Cover artwork by Kilian Plunkett.

From the publisher:

Boba Fett makes his first appearance ever in this issue of Classic Star Wars: The Early Adventures! The galaxy's meanest bounty hunter made his debut in the Star Wars daily newspaper strips reprinted herein, featuring Luke and Han hunted on an icy tundra by the enigmatic masked man, Boba Fett!

Notable Quotes:

"Don't puff yourself, space bum! You're just side money for me, this trip!"
- Boba Fett
