Topic: spiderman 3 trailer WITH VENOM no joke venom is AT THE VERY END

ok this is for anyone who likes the spiderman movies: i just saw this trailer, and IT HAS THE ACTUAL VENOM AT THE END. IT'S NOT A JOKE. AND YOU WONT SEE IT ANYWHERE ELSE FOR A WHILE.

Yeah.... Not really enough time for me to make a decision on whether he is truly amazing or not....

I wonder if they'll use the comci book "White Spider" Venom

or the Ultimate Venom with no white spider.....

My link was too slow to watch it, but I hadn't even realised they been shooting a new film. I'll definitely be going to the movies when it comes out. big_smile

I totally agree.... The Ultimate Venom not only wasn't as cool and humorous as the original... But he was purple!

Whoever desgined the Ultimate version obviously had no imagination whatsoever and all he could think of was "Lose the spider"

I like Ultimate Venom. He was deep and cool and had an awesome origin. And it was a very dark purple. so what if he didn't have a spider. In the Ultimate Spider-man video game, he gets a white spider at the end.

I'm stuck on the Green Goblin.... Who was also better in the normal comic....

And I don;t like the idea that Peter's ftaher was working on the symbiote....

Your just plain inflexible. The Ultimate GG was cool, even thoguh Hobgoblin was pretty lame. I for one, loved how Peter's father helped create Venom. And Ultimate Clone Saga is already better than the original one. Although that's not very hard...

1. "Your uncle's real killer?!?!?!?" WTF Sandman isn't even that great a villain.

2. I knew Topher Grace was gonna be Venom, but isn't Eddie Brock supposed to be hella buff? And Topher's well, Eric Foreman.

In my eyes, liking those comics is your biggest problem. That is, unless you like DC comics.

yeah well you gotta admit the cgi on venom is very well done. i like his weird roar at the end it sounds awesome, truly ferocious in my opinion.

Thats a bit harsh... All I said was I didn't like Ultimate Venom or Ultimate Green Goblin and thats perfectly reasonable. I liked some of the Ultimate stuff, just not all of it...

It's like saying to a Star wars Fan who refuses to watch Star Trek, "You're the most unflexible person ever..."

Well I never said it wasn't, I was just saying I hadn't seen enough to say that it was the best they coulda possibly done... It does look good.

why is everyone hating? just give the movie a chance to do something new, huh? thats why people REIMAGINE THINGS (humorbot, this is directed towards you)!!!! why do you care if venom is purple? like i said, its SUPPOSED TO BE DIFFERENT!!! if things were different, then it would be all of the boring stuff we've read before... but i do agree they didnt do enough with venom in ultimate...  i hope they do ultimate carnage vs. venom.... ooooh that would rock!

Well I may have come across more aggravated than I actually was...I thought we were having a relatively calm conversation...But anyway...

As for Venom being purple...well its not a "ARGH I'm not going to see this film cos he's purple thing/..."

I just meant I prefered him when he was either blue or black.... I didn't think Purple looked right...

And I'm very sorry if anyone thought I was getting angry with them.... I still think it was a little harsh to call me "inflexible" though...

Oops. my apologies. I was in my grouchy mode. Sorries.

But the thing about the movie that I don't get, is why did they make Sandman Uncle Ben's killer? It totally takes away the significance of Peter inavertently causing Ben's death. I don't like it.

But why do you hate ultimate marvel, draco? What ultimate story did you read? maybe you just read the wrong one. smile

I would guess he read The Ultimate Deadpool story... That seems like the kind of thing he'd read....

I dislike non-canon material in the first place, but Ultimate Marvel seems "hip-hop-ish" for me. I doubt that I would read Ultimate Deadpool, unless it was at a very low price. Also, I doubt the creators of the original characters would like having there creations changed in such a way. I have read the Ultimate Spider-man, and I truely dispised it. It is reminiscent of the "Greedo shot first" retroactive continuity issue. I do not mind people reading them, I just would prefer it if people did not try to change my opinion.

No, you should not read Ultimate Deadpool. It is one of the few Ultimate stories I dislike, mainly because Deadpool isn't as cool in the ultimate Universe. That's one time where you're right, draco.

hey its cool humorbot i was way too harsh. my apologies. hey, draco, ultimate marvel isnt non-cannon, its just set in a different timeline/universe thingy.... come to think of it, all non cannon stuff is set in a different timeline/universe thingy..... craaaaaaaaaaazy.... i didnt think the deadpool story arc was bad.... i thought it was ok but not bad.... i agree ultimate deadpool isnt as cool as he is in the other marvel stories, but i thought it was worth reading.... why dont like it? im not trying to be insultive, just fill me in.
