If boba didn't fall into the sarlacc then the trilogy spins off basis and GL is out of a job where he sells everything he owns (Even the Flannels! NOOOOOOOOOOO!) and becomes a homeless beggar

And then I buy them and sell them on E-bay and become rich and famous!  And then I rewrite a newer, better Star Wars trilogy, with more Fett and less eating habits of the Sarlacc.

Boba's "death" was necessary to the film, because otherwise he would have been chasing them throughout RotJ and causing all kinds of problems.  He would have been a major hassle to the writers.

If Fett never fell into the Sarlaac...well it would've screwed up a lot a fan fantasies.  I personally like to think he managed to do since you kinda have the established bad-ass character and he goes down by an accident! I mean "Come on"!  I imagine he'd continue doing what he always does...hunting the bounties, kicking ***, and saying hardly a word.

Well if you ever played shadows of the empire on Nintendo 64 boba fett lives and battles Dash Rendar... and when you defeat him he retreats... So boba fett still lives on

Shadows of the Empire, and the game based on it, takes place between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.  Before his "death."

I remember that game!! I loved that game....I should get it.....
Anyway, If Fett never fell into the Sarlaac, then I don't know what would have happened. I kind of like the fact that he fell in and managed to blow his way out. It shows just how dangerous and talented he is since he is the only one to ever escape!
