In honor of the new superman returns movie, I've made a thread to determine who'd win the fight of the year............Boba Fett or Superman. So, who's it gonna be?

I hate superman because they took everything they could think of and threw it into a hero, which made him invulnerable to harm, super strong, able to fly... You can't beat him unless you have kryptonite. Therefore Superman wins unless Boba somehow manages to find some of the green stuff. (or red or gold)

AWESOME IDEA! smile Im sure Lex would give some Kryptonite to take him down. Its just like Spider-Fett's story, Boa fett vs Spiderman. Sadly, I dont think Boba Fett could come even close to doing it without the Kryptonite. hmm Then MAYBE he could get close.....

I agree one hundred percent. Super-man can spin backwards and go through the space-time continuam. By the way, it also comes in blue, pink, purple, black, white, and pretty much any other color of the visible spectrum.

Also, Superman has some really bad contingency glitches. Let me explain...

One scene, he will be struggling to stop a tank from falling on an orphanage or something.

Next scene, OMG the world is out of orbit and Superman flies out and pushes it back... anyone seeing the problem??

Yea, sounds like Superman vs. Aliens. Which I can't find anywhere for some reason. But it would be nice to see someone kill Superman.

I think it's be a tie, sure, superman has all his cool powers, but the combination of Boba's own significant physical strength plus his armor will enable him to take superman's punches without getting knocked out, and all his karate skills will serve him well, and it has been proven that missles can knock supes for a loop, and Boba has missles.  Also, we know superman can hold up fine against most earth weapons, but we have no idea how he'd fare against Boba's weapons from another galaxy.

Superman hands down, unless Boba has getten hold of some kryptonite, that would make it more fair.  Superman is basically invincible.  Despite all the weaponry Boba has, I'm going to go with Superman.

Dear DC Comics,
                    Your chracter Superman, although popular, is the Ben Affleck of the comic book world. He is boring to read about and he is far too overrated. His arch enemy is a maniacal President. Were your writers drunk that day?  Whenever I see anyone buying any of the Superman merchandise or comics I feel inclined to hit them. Thw comic is more inconsistent than the Sherdog message boards, it is boring drivel. Basically they are stupid. Why is an unstoppable hero who can essentially turn back time at all interesting? So he's not unstoppable because Kryptonite can stop him. That stuff is almost as inconsistently rare as Adamantium in the Marvel Series of Comics. If it is truly the remains of a destroyed planet then why can all these super-punk enemies get hold of it? The best two storylines in Superman's history was the one where Lois Lane died (Was gonna happen anyway, who ever made up that character was a fat idiot.) and the one where the comic ended permanently forever... Oh I forgot that was just the mumblings of the smartest people alive. The stupidest storyline ever was the one where he got randomly pummeled toi death by some douche and then he awoke a few issues later. How many monkeys did you get to think up that one? Batman is infinitely better, as is (and I can't believe I'm saying this) Captain America. Simply because they are both well trained humans rather than super-powered morons. Although Captain America does quite often match the stupidity of Superman with some of the crap he comes out with.

Humorbot, that is one of the most intelligent things that I have ever read, and I have read the dictionary. You canot forget that everybody loves him, even though he destroys buildings cnstantly, and that he virtually has 99.99999999(...) % of every created power. He also struts when he walks.

Here's some points....

1. Although cool, Fett in ROTJ was essentially beat by a blind man waving a stick, I'd assume Superman is quite a bit more formidable than a blind man with a stick.

2. If sufficient time is spent away from earth's yellow sun, superman becomes powerless and equal to a mortal man.

3. Unlike Batman, Boba has no idea about Superman's kryptonite weakness, therefore would be unlikely to use this to his advantage ( of course barring any outside help/information from informed parties)

4. The best thing Boba has fought was a jedi, which despite their cool powers, pale in comparison to Superman, who let's face it is stronger, faster, tougher, and in alot of cases smarter than your jedi.

5. Superman as opposed to Boba, can survive in space without life support, therefor all he woul dhave to do is open Slave 1 to open space, and problem solved.

Therefore the winner- Superman

If Superman can fly through the sun and not be scorched, blinded, burnt, or touched one bit- who do you honestly think would win? This is a retarded question. Boba couldn't use his gun, Superman is invincible to bullets (if you remember in Superman returns, the bullet crushes in his eye and he doesn't even feel it). Flamethrower wouldn't do good since Superman could fly through a freakin star! Rockets are just like guns, no effect whatsoever, plus Superman would catch the rocket and redirect at Fett, then Superman has lasers coming out of his eyes, so really Boba would be screwed no matter what, no matter how much we all love him, Superman is the victor.

He has done it before, it's the same way you catch an egg. You slow it down, then turn it around. You don't just step in front of it, but even if he did, he would be fine. Really Fett has absolutely no way of killin Superman.

I know! It's cheezy. In superman returns, this one guy has like a......what?......30MM MINIGUN UNLOADING on his chest and it doesn't even scratch his suit!.....Stupid 99.9% invulnerable person....That's why I like Marvel comics better. He is WAY to cheap.

In either case, Boba would get ahold of kryptonite in like, an hour, and bam, not so super man any more.

Do you guys know why Superman is so "cheap" and "unfair"? It's because he was the dawn of Super Heroes. Before superman there were no superpowered heroes. The authors of the comic just took every power they could think up, added flight, and put it into a comic. He is famous for that, and I for one am glad he was created because without him there would be no x-men or silver surfer or green lantern.

This does not make me like him or his comics. Just trying to point out an important fact.
