Topic: Boba Fett’s helmet dent

Even though I love Boba Fett’s iconic helmet dent, I was wondering if it is even possible. Boba Fett’s helmet dent is most definitely a blaster shot, but as shown by The Mandalorian beskar deflects blaster shots without leaving a dent. And since Boba Fett’s armour is beskar how did the dent get there? Especially since it was originally going to be a blaster shot from Cad Bane in a scrapped Clone Wars arc. There might be a reasonable explanation that I don’t know, so tell me if there is.

Maybe enough blunt force could dent his helmet so if he got into a close combat fight he might get hit there causing it to dent

Yes, I agree. Maybe a beskar weapon could have done it as we know that beskar can dent other beskar.

In "legends," the dent happens in a fight with Darth Vader in "Enemy of the Empire." See https://www.bobafettfanclub.com/bounty/ … /eote_tpb/ for the initial 4-issue trade paperback. It's since been republished.

In canon, it's still considered that the unfinished Clone Wars pre-viz is the story, as far as that was shown to the public at Star Wars Celebration - see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWdIQAICfQQ. There's even follow-up from that scene, since Cad Bane has a plate on his head in his return in the animated series and also in "The Book of Boba Fett," as if stemming from that duel with Fett.
