Topic: Time Zone Structure

Ever since I signed up to become a member of this fantastic fan-forum board, I have always had problems attempting to decipher the problems with my time-zone display. Over the years, I've learned to ignore it and worry about things less miniscule. But lately, being the obsessive compulsive individual I am, it has become a huge annoyance to me. I have managed to set my time zone as close as it can possibly be to real time.
Where I live............the real time is exactly 9:28 PM, yet my forum time states that it is 20 minutes or so later.
If there is a more specific way to adjust the time zone settings, this information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. big_smile

TW, thanks for the post.

Already aware of the 20 minute offset on our server. As of right now, there's nothing I can do.

To change your local time on the site, go to Profile > Essentials (default), scroll down to the "Set your localization options" heading. Beneath, it explains that "[f]or the forum to display times correctly you must select your local timezone."

Well at least Im aware the my obsessive compulsiveness isn't dillusional. tongue
appreciate the time-zone info. Maybe somewhere in the future, we could work on that.

I've always wondered why the time was off by 20 minutes, but I just assumed it was a problem on my end! But I've been ignoring it for quite a while so it's not that annoying anymore.
