I'm curious. With all of the great female characters in the Star Wars universe, who is everyone's favorite?

Do we go straight for the core, with Princess Leia or Padme Amidala?
Do we go underworld with Aurra Sing or Zam Wessel?
Badguys like Asajj Ventress or Armiral Natasi Daala?
Jedi like Aayla Secura or Mara Jade?

Who do you think its one of the most powerful (character-wise, not like force powers) female presences within Star Wars & the Expanded Universe?

Mara Jade, Etain Tur-Mukan, uh....Jaina's pretty decent, as a character. Besany Wennan, Parja, basically anyone tied to the Skiratas. Can't think of too many others. And yeah, Aayla's pretty good.

I like Leia, Mara, Jaina, Kreia, and I think that's it for favorites. If I thought about it I might think of some others.

Hmmm if we're going for straight faves.... Definitely Shaak Ti. Juno Eclipse too. ( come on blonde imperial... have to love her wink ) I must admit this is hard because there are just so many ladies in the SW galaxy that appeal to my sensibilities. Rav Bralor is another one of mine. (Even named my car after her smile )

I've always had a crush on Lyn Me from the added scenes of the Original Trilogy   tongue

Aurra Sing and Admiral Daala both seem to be made of 100% pure kick@ss'; wish I could get hold of some of the comics that focus on them

Well, how 'hot' they are is a definite qualifier for why they're in my top favorites   tongue

Lyn me simply because she's smokin', plus I discovered she has a crush on Boba in her EU history

I have grown a certain liking to Mara Jade. She reminds me of my mother for some reason.......She is a sensitive mother towards Ben, yet she can be a strong independant woman who can kick some butt.

I'm not sure about Bly. Its possible as he wouldn't be the first clone to be attracted to a twi'lek.

As to WHY i love Shaak Ti, she's very distinctive looking, and I love her fierceness and strength.  I love Juno Eclipse, simply because she's a Blonde Imperial. ( I am a Blonde Imperial) Its hard for woman in the Star Wars galaxy to NOT be strong and independent, by nature of the galaxy. It is a hard place. Only the strong survive.

Oh, yeah... Shaak Ti is great... I remamber her from the old cartoon and from a few scenes in the movies... She is cool, but I think Aayla is better. Eclipse is also cool. How can a blonde officer girl with a british accent not be cool?
