I've never complained about the kid friendlyness of any of the movies. What everyone seems to forget is that there was nothing in the original trilogy that is kid UN-friendly...

Lucas went WAY overboard in the kid friendly settings in Ep. I. One of the things I love about the original trilogy is that it's very much like a classic movie of the silver screen: it's not really a kid movie, yet it's a movie you'd love to take your kids to go see. It's a movie for any generation really. Lucas failed *or didn't even try* to achieve that 'ageless' quality the original movies had and turned Ep. I into a typical, modern, stilly kid show. The other 2 were progressivly better, though as we all know the acting sucked from some of the key players.
