What kind of website are you building?

My portfolio. A display of the pretty things I can do with pixels and some other real life mediums too. I think there's a link to my 2nd version in my profile. I am working on a 3rd version now.

I made a degree in Graphic Design months ago and I'm kinda looking for a job in that field. The website will prove I can do Flash, CSS and some other cool little things like that.

Pen ink??? I agree, hardcore indeed. Come on, Draco, don't want you to end up at the hospital with that crap. Pay yourself true quality if you're gonna have something printed on you for life.

Cast iron and treadmills? Oh yes. Still sculpting me to what I really want to be, and I love it. :)

It's a "z" and I can't find a place that'll illegally tattoo a 16 year old around here. Plus it's free.

Hardcore yes but there's still things you should be careful about, Mr Man. And maybe they would tattoo you if your parents sign a paper agreeing about it?

Would you let your kids et a tatoo

Re: What do you do when you're not on BFFC?

First, my kids... I don't think my 2 years old will want a tattoo anytime soon, lol.

And let me put it this way, if my 15 years old was determined enough to mutilate herself with pen ink and crap, I'd take things in hand and direct her onto something quality just to make sure she doesn't hurt herself worse than a tat would.

Then again there's places where a tat can be easily hidden by clothing and won't be a nuisance to you when you look for a job later. Gotta think of that too.

See, with teenagers it's like any other forbiddance, the more you forbid, the more stuff will happen behind your back and in the worst conditions. I am not one to allow free for all, but if anything is to happen I prefer to know it and make sure it's done the healthy way.

I used to think they were cool.

Now I would have a hard time to choose something I'd be sure to like for life. I once thought I'd like KISS for life, and it changed. And along the years I see my tastes change on all kinds of other things, so really, there's nothing I could print on me forever.

Skulls? Dragons? Everyone get that. The first time I thought of getting a tat I went for an airbrush on my leathercoat instead. A Grim Reaper, now how original is that? lol.

If there was an image I wanted to keep for a long time I suppose I could do that again. It's a long time that an image hasn't amazed me to that point though.

Re: What do you do when you're not on BFFC?

As long as you don't do what every girl does and go for flowers or stars or dolphins. That's like skulls and dragons for guys. Or Chinese characters. Though if I wanted a dragon, I'd go for an original looking dragon. Because that's how I roll.

As for putting them in inconspicuous places, how about that idiot girl who got 50 stars put on her face? o_O; Talk bout dumb.

And no, I don't have any tats. Too chicken! And I don't know what I'd like anyways!

Half Dragon, half human, 100% Fett!

Re: What do you do when you're not on BFFC?

I think it was those guys who do the blue vs red or whatever halo thing who said it best:
Look at who you were ten years ago. You were a real idiot, huh? In ten more years you're going to think who you are now is an idiot. So why get a tattoo of something you're just going to hate in ten years?

Simpsons said it good too, when Homer's all like, "If you get a tattoo make sure it'll be for something you'll love forever." and then he sees one on himself and goes, "Aww, I hate that band."

Drawing on yourself with a pen is fine I think I've done that for quick notes once or twice (though a lot of that probably wouldn't be healthy). But trying to put the ink in with a tack? That's not good.

Cecelia, I heard about the star-girl. She tried to claim she was asleep and the person had done it on his own. Uh, yeah. Sleeping while needles are sticking into your face? I think she later admitted it was her own fault.

Reality doesn't care if you believe in it.

Re: What do you do when you're not on BFFC?

Yeah, your right.

Re: What do you do when you're not on BFFC?

I have two possible tats that I may someday want to get.  Both would be my own drawings *or at least based on them*.  One would be my Clan Drakus Mando Death-head with red eight point star eye against dimond shield.  The other would be the logo I still have in the planning stages for my Army of Two/Expendables spin-off mercenarly company.

The Mando would be high on my left shoulder, and the merc stamp would be on my right.  High up where a military shoulder patch would be.  I'm pretty sure I've posted the Mando logo in my creations thread.  When I finally finish my merc logo I'll post it

"You set a code to live by.  I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted...I won't be laid a hand on.  I don't do these things to other men, and I require the same from them."

Like, come on. Stars all over the face?? What kind of life can you have after that???

It's really odd. I am now thinking about having a Grim Reaper again on me somewhere. As a form of celebration of a cut in my life. A change of pace, change of ... phase. Like something has gone beyond maturity in me and is bound to go to garbage, while another part of me is reviving.

Yeah, I might get me a Grim Reaper again somewhere. Death. He's been with me the whole time anyway, he's the main piece of my portfolio. Danse Macabre has always been my favourite music. Halloween, my favourite time of the year! And I've always thought Skeletons and other creatures of similar realm were sooo cool.

I need to express that somehow. It is too very me.

Thanks Karson for the great idea. You're awesome. big_smile

Re: What do you do when you're not on BFFC?

I think tattoos on the face is a bad idea it won't look good applying for school or a job interview, when im of age I will get tattoos but some where secret so  when I'm old it won't be, "Grandpa is that a tattoo of KISS on your arm?" but yeah I think it wont be nice to have a tattoo face hmm

What do you have against my pretty eyes? tongue
And yes I'll be egomaniac for a while if I want (I've seen your post before you removed it, lol), it's a purification. I've had a petrified zombie ego for a very very long time, thanks to people I'd kick down the stairs now, so it's time I wake up, lol. Egos waking up are like people waking up in the morning : a stinky beast, lol.

But I am not stinky at all, and not a beast by any mean though. I swear. smile

And you are right Capitl, indeed a tat on the face is a stupid idea. I'm not sure I'm gonna get it as a tat anyway. And certainly in a better place. tongue
