lmao. I never played Sims 1, but some of the retarded stuff continued in Sims 2, they still burn down the house just from cooking their stuff, and have the moth syndrome. Instead of running away they run at the fire and stand there, with the windmill arms, panicking like idiots.

Today in my Sims 2 game, one of my Sims (a sim of Doc Emmett Brown, in fact!) wanted to see a ghost, well he saw the ghost so many times, repeatedly, that he ended up dying from it. Dying from fear! Literally! Another one had to call him back from the tomb using some item.

Glad to hear you tried and liked Sims 3, Miba. I don't know if I'll play it much, myself, besides just to know it enough to be able to create custom content for it. It's so huge a machine to run, and I'm not sure I like it.

Thats what mine do! Which doesn't help when it just delays them calling the fire department even more. Or when they die from their stupidity because they won't leave the house!

Oooh you got a Doc Brown Sim? That is SO COOL. Like Star Wars, Back to the Future is easily one of my favorite sets of movies! I hope he has a Marty to go along with him. =3

I think the video games I've most enjoyed playing were Final Fantasy 2 (FF4, in Japan), Final Fantasy 7, Crimson Skies, Knights of the Old Republic, Assassins Creed, Brothers in Arms, the Call of Duty series, and the old Wing Commander games.

Oh yeah, and I really got addicted to playing Sid Meier's Pirates several months back.  That was just plain fun.

Haven't played the DS version, but I did pick up a used copy of Final Fantasy Chronicles for the PS1 at Gamestop the other day.  Is that the version you're talking about?  I was picking up the new Ghostbusters game, which is fun as heck to play if you get the chance.  Anyway, it's got FF2 and Chronotrigger on it.  I have no idea what Chronotrigger has to do with the FF series, other than it's the same game maker, but I've been wanting to play it for a while now.  Just can't find a good copy for the SNES with instructions anymore.  It's usually too expensive for my tastes on eBay.  The FF2 game on there, though, supposed to have updated cut scenes that they didn't have the tech to do on the old SNES, back in the day.

Too bad you don't have Sims 2, Cecilia. If you ever do, tell me and I'll share my stuff with you if you want. Sounds fun what you did with SimCity 3000, annihilating cities when you're fed up with them. You should have made little movies of that. I tried Sim City 4 but I am too dumb to understand anything.

I loved FFVI, myself. more than IV, and more then the sequels. Also loved Chrono Trigger. Only played the SNES version on my PC as a rom and it's great, and the music was great too, but I have to say it was on my PC not on a SNES. I have the DS version too and I still have to try it. Loved the stone age girl. Put the berserker thing on her head and she becomes a killing machine.

Wow, you girls played all the "Sim" games. I only played Sims 2 (both on GameCube and PC) and a little of Sims 3. I wanted to build my area of city in SimCity4 to use it as a neighborhood in Sims 2 but when I installed SimCity4 I felt overwhelmed by all the functions I couldn't understand. And the part of city I wanted to map was wayyy too big anyway. It would have taken too much time to map all that and Sims 2 isn't hip enough anymore to invest so much effort on a single neighborhood map.

I only played the Final Fantasy games I to VI, including the japanese ones released on the NES. But that's it. Someone has shown me some of the 3D sequels (VII, and another) but I can't say I really felt appealed. I haven't seen the movie you're mentioning. When was it released?

And just a question like that. What do you think is better? Movies based on videogames, or videogames based on movies?

Yes, many companies seem to think it's the new way of making money with gamers. There's MMORPGs popping everywhere now.
