Too bad they were kinda retarded when it came to the bed; even if I had two single beds next to eachother, if one was sleeping in one, the other would not use the other bed. They wouldn't even share the bed made SPECIFICALLY for two Sims to use at once. Nor could I get them to sleep in single beds even if they were spaced apart. In the end I fingured out a way around that and bought a ton of sofas. Now one gets a bed and the others sleep on sofas.
They were also extremely retarded about stoves and would not Stop. Burning. Down. The house! They'd burn it down on the first day and kill one or more of themselves even! More annoying was the fact that the pizza delivery guy would get there in, like, 5 game minutes, but the fire department took a game hour! What the hell?! >_<
lmao. I never played Sims 1, but some of the retarded stuff continued in Sims 2, they still burn down the house just from cooking their stuff, and have the moth syndrome. Instead of running away they run at the fire and stand there, with the windmill arms, panicking like idiots.
Today in my Sims 2 game, one of my Sims (a sim of Doc Emmett Brown, in fact!) wanted to see a ghost, well he saw the ghost so many times, repeatedly, that he ended up dying from it. Dying from fear! Literally! Another one had to call him back from the tomb using some item.
Glad to hear you tried and liked Sims 3, Miba. I don't know if I'll play it much, myself, besides just to know it enough to be able to create custom content for it. It's so huge a machine to run, and I'm not sure I like it.
