Re: Aylin Vel
I agree. Back to topic.
So.... How do we know Boba was in his late teens-early 20s when he supposedly had Aylin?

We really don't know that, come to think of it. Has anybody succeeded in getting the e-mail adress of GL and /or Star Wars insider so I can start the chain of complaint letters against Ailyn Vel?
SF
If you read her wiki profile carefully, you'll notice that she takes after her father in many ways, like the ability to kill challenging bounties, and her father's hot headed temper. So, really I don't see the big deal in attacking Aylin.
If she is mentioned on every Star Wars fansite, especially Italian and Spanish, then Aylin Vel IS canon.
So, really I don't see the big deal in attacking Aylin.
Because some find it blasphemous that Fett broke his celibacy.
Where is Quinlan's name mentioned in ROTS? I need to go back to catch it.
I think it's In the opening battle, Obi-Wan says something to Anaking about "General Vos" having to move his forces or something to that affect. If it's not the opening battle, then it's when they're in the Jedi temple, right before Obi-Wan asks Anakin to spy on Palpatine for the Jedi Council.
Vos is mentioned when they're in the temple and something is said about Anakin being late.
I read it somewhere that Boba was between 17 and 21 when he fathered Aylin... I just can't remember where. I was Googling Fett when I stumbled across that article.
Yeah, it's in the scene where Anakin walks into the meeting room thing with the holo display. Obi-Wan clicks it off and says, "You're late." and Anakin says sorry, he has no excuse. And then Obi-Wan says something like, "In short things are going very well. We something something about the outer or mid rim and that Master Vos has moved his troops to Bos Pity."
And I find it hard to believe that Aylin is mentioned on every fansite. Cause, besides Wiki, I've seen no other information about her OL at all on any fansite.
I've only seen her on one site other than Wiki, and I can't even find that site anymore.
I just don't like the fact that some credit that was once given to Boba is now given to her but with everyone thinking it was Boba. Like stuff in that Young Jedi Knights series I think... I don't so much mind Boba not being celebat. You saw how he flirted with the dancers as Jabba's palace. Everyone has those urges at some point. If Catholic priests can act on those impulses so can Fett!
Yes, Boba can fall in love and have kids and stuff. Just not with Sintas, and just not Aylin. I mean, they would have been fine, if Boba didn't ya know, go totally out of character by up and leaving her and Aylin? And if Boba kinda didn't act so cold and apathic towards her and stuff? I just reread the Sintas comic and to all apperances that's not Boba at all. The only thing that faintly resembles him is the armor.
I just don't like the fact that some credit that was once given to Boba is now given to her but with everyone thinking it was Boba. !
Yeah, if anything that's how I feel about it too. Although it does explain this one thing that I thought was kind of out of character for Boba in one of the Young Jedi Knights books. (Don't remember which one. It's been a long time.) [SPOILER ... maybe] He/she was on a hunt for that dude that was missing and he/she went out of his/her way to go to the chick who hired him/her just to tell her he/she hadn't found him yet. When I read that part I was like, "What is he doing???"
I can imagine Fett doing that, but not Ailyn.
Doing what? Making a pointless trip just to say he hasn't found someone yet?
Yeah, doesn't sound Boba-like, to suddenly go, "Hey, let's go back without the bounty."
I can imagine Fett doing that if his employer wanted him to report back at a certain time (I do not know the situation, as I have not read the book).
Oh, well, yeah, if the employer asks him to, I'm certain Boba'd report in. I don't know the situation in the book either, cause I, too, have never read it.
I've only seen her on one site other than Wiki, and I can't even find that site anymore.

Well, nobody said you had to believe that part of it. In a commentary, Kevin J. Anderson, the author of YOung Jedi Knights, said it was his intention to bring back the bounty hunter BOBA FETT!!! He said nothing about Ailyn Vel. So, no matter what insider says, if the author of the book says differently, then insider lies. If you can't trust the author, who can you trust?
SF
My pet goldfish Spanky.
Huh?
SF
He was saying that you can trust his goldfish.
And SF was saying how can a goldfish talk, and why would you trust one anyway, and that was completely random, and shouldn't you be telling him it's spam anyway?
HOW CAN A GOLDFISH TALK?! well... umm... you have to... umm... use the magic herb first, but for some reason the cops don't like the magic herb... Interestingly enought, though, the magic herb also makes the whole Ailyn story make sense... hmm... we may have found a solution!
Oo, I want magic herbs!
*looks around before opening coat* Alright... but it's gonna cost you. It ain't cheap to understand the complexity that is Ailyn Vel...
I t could be that Alpha 02 is Ailyns father.
SF
I would agree to that
