Topic: Delta Sqaud vs Master Chief

ok i belive there has been much discusion on this subject in other forums, but i searched for it here and got nadda, so i thought this forum should have one.

What would happen if Master chief came accross Delta sqaud and they decided to have a fire fight?

The surrondings would resemble barren sand like terrian with hills and a number of man sized rocks for cover.
Delta would have its usaual weapons and ordanace
Master chief would have a shot gun, assualt rifle and two frags.


Who would win, and why?

Ok, Delta has (pretty much) four pocket propeled grenades. each. And mastercheif is outnumbered. But if he gets close, he is faster and stronger then them. If he can get close, they will die.

Yeah, pretty much.  Although the Delta squad works best through coorinated teamwork, and Master Cheif is a solo act, most of the time; a morale booster usually.  Delta would completely waste him with superior numbers, which is only a factor here because said "numbers" work like amachine together, and would be nigh upon impossibe for M.C. alone to take out.  However, if Chief got them alone, and one on one, he'd probably come out on top.

Due to maintenance problems, the light at the end of the tunnel will not be in operation today.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

I will request you read the books Halo: the Fall of Reach and Halo:The Flood

Master Cheif is solo because he is the last spartan. He had to learn to fight alone, and a partial failiur to do so almost cost him his life.

Master cheifs ways of killing Delta are very limited.
The only way he could hurt themis if: he used a frag, was able to get up close or if one of his bulits penitrated there black suit.

While as Delta could hurt him by: blasting him, blowing him up with a anti-armor/thermal/sonic grenade, they could shut him down with an ECD, they could snipe him, knife him if they got lucky enough or blind him with a flash bang then blast him.

The odds are against MC

Ok, this does not seem like a very good fight to me. 1 Four on one 2 The four have  a total of 16 grenades (and thats just the normal type. They have pretty much RPGs . and Master Cheif has two grenades, a shot gun and an assault rifle.         

Also, the clones have "impenetrable" armor if you go bye mandals definition

I honestly think it would have been more fair if you had given good ole Spartan 117 a SRS99D-S2 AM Sniper Rifle, an MA5C Assault Rifle, 2 frag grenades, 2 'napalm' grenades, 2 plasma grenades, and 2 brute spike grenades. Otherwise, that is completely ridiculous.

I've read them both.  I know about MAster Chief.  I'm just saying that he was trained to fight alone, at the head of a group, yes, but on his own nonetheless.

Master Chief has a really good shield/armor though, and Squad Delta is good only with TEAMWORK, if one person get's killed, then they're all going to die. Because put it this way, M.C. can break a Grunt's skull in one hit (According to the book Halo: The Flood) and he can survive MANY shots. He can just charge at one of them, kill him, throw a frag at the others and then run away. Since there's at least 1 dead, M.C. is diffinitely going to win.
