Lizzie lowered her weapon. "She's not going to harm us," She whispered to James.
He nodded and stepped forward, ready to speak to the other werewolf. "Why do you follow us, sister?"
The female werewolf blinked, seemly surprised by James' talk of family. "I want to hunt vampires, why do you travel with one?"
James tilted his head sideways and glanced back at Lizzie, "She is different to the others. The evil taint has not touched her as yet."
"But vampires have tried to control our kind in the past." The female pointed out.
James shrugged, "That was the past, we are strong now. Besides do you feel as though you are being controlled?"
The female werewolf shrugged. "Not really, but perhaps they are extra powerful."
James shook his head. "They say if you are under the control of a vampire that you have no free thought of your own, you only witness what you do without any control."
"The vampire you travel with may have poisoned your mind with such rubbish." The female werewolf stated.
Lizzie spoke up, "And why would I do that? What would I gain from mind-control that I can't get with simple understanding and kindness to those who seek the same goal I seek?"
"I don't understand your methods or your reasons, vampire. I just know that werewolves and vampires do not walk the same path. Vampires always believe that they deserve the high road while we should travel the low road." The were hissed.
Lizzie shrugged, "I'm hardly high and mighty standing here in my undergarments." Once again Asher blushed.
James spoke again. "We want to kill the evil vampires that destroy lives of not only adults, but children, even whole families. Lizzie wants to help us, she was a victim herself. She could have turned into a crazed killer like the rest of her kind but she didn't."
"She still could," The female werewolf replied.
"Perhaps," James said quietly.
