That's a good one both bllod AND paint.
well i know that in the start of the game hes got it but if u notice in the kashyke levels i beleive more is added.Id say a mix of both
Thats a great idea, but i still think that its all paint, he just adds to it after every engagement, or maby he uses it as a kill marker, like a cm for every kill? or a milimetter or whatever.
I'd say paint. He probably adds more if the older stuff gets too faded? As a sniper, I don't think much blood would find a way to splatter onto his armour from a distance. The closer kills, maybe, but when it dried, it'd look more brown than red. So I'm going to say paint.
Good point.
I still say it's blood just to play the other part. It's alien blood that never oxidizes but retains a red colour. A since when did the blood have to be splattered? You can dip your hand in a fresh kill and lather it all over your visor...
ON SECOND THOUGHT I'LL GO WITH THE PAINT!
Niiice. But honestly, why would a master sniper take the time to go over to his kill, cut a hole in the flesh, dip his hand in the blood, and spred it on his face? By then, he'd be under heavy fire, unless the single enemy was a straggler, in which case it would make little sense to kill it.
I was saying before that the blood could not possibly blast out from a dead body a hundred feet away, fly over to Sev, and coat his armour. It's physically impossible. Which means he would have to actually get out from under cover, and THEN go to the target, in possibly hostile territory. It just doesn't seem likely.
Paint is more likely, and if it was splatter, why is it in a distincive patern?
There were plenty of opportunities in the game to lather some blood on his face. But I was never disputing that it's blood splatter. It could be though. The first time we see Sev in the game he's punching the lights out of some poor Geonosian. Ample opportunity for some splatterage.
Distinctive patern, not like spray patern on CSI which is still alittle random. And geonsian blood is greenins right? so is Trandoahan blood right? And droids "blood" is blue/black. Where would he get the blood?
Its paint. Realy.
Fine. Paint. But deep down you know it's blood.
Nope, its paint, that resembles blood. for shock value. Its not practical to smear blood al over your self. some Native americans used dye to intimidate, as it did resemble blood.
It's a form of psychological warfare; if you see an enemy covered in the blood of others, you are going to freak out. That's probably why he does it, to give himself an edge.
Thank you for supporting my arguement.....i think.
Paint that looks like blood, thats what it is.....or should be
You're welcome. It makes no logical sense for it to be blood. I am just trying to help provide a realistic viewpoint.
wow, this topic is old--lol
the only reason i'd really think that its blood, is that Sev is a bit psychotic, which we can all agree on.

Sev has issues, but he knows how things work, he may be psychotic, but he has a cynical logic. It makes no sense for it to be blood, it wouldn't last. Blood-like paint is what I think it is, that makes much more sense as I have already pointed out. Also, blood has a certain smell to it, and then a Trandoshan might pick it up, bad for stealh.

Paint can be scentless. Blood can not.
Its paint....that resembles blood in a very menacing way. SEV ROCKS!!!
BB*
Well look at it. It wouldn't be very RED paint. It's blood color AND it has a look to it. bloody looking. It could be paint, but it looks like blood to me.... IDK...
Yeah. Me too. It looks just like blood to me.
judging by the way sev is in RC, i wouldn't doubt that it really was blood. i mean he did get upset after forgetting his kill count.
