Re: How's your weather?
"Hot and crappy, with continued hot and crappy, and a pueky front moving in from the South." (Adrian Crounhour) in Good Morning Vietnam. But that just about sums it up for here, oh yah and smoke occasnally blows in to.

Right now it's raining here in Finland...
...
"Finland : Raining"
"Sweden : Flooding"
While it's raining in Finland, it's warm 'n' sunny here in Sweden
It's gotten hot and dry now. Hasn't rained in nearly a month. The usual summer forest fires have started too, I see smoke in the distance and one morning I could actually smell the smoke.
Southern California is pretty hot, but there's a nice breeze coming in from the beach this morning.
Almost all of June and most of July has been hot and dry. Thankfully we got some rain last week. Today, though, is in the sixties. Weird.
Well here in Jersey its uncomfortably hot for me. Hot and Sunny and I wish I went downtheshore but they were saying rain and look no rain.
Today in Scotland it has been cloudy but sunny at times. It has been really hot and even though it is now late at night it has only just started to cool down in the living room.
I like the warm weather to get clothes dry but personally I hate the hot weather.
While I actually like the hot weather, I must North Carolina has enjoyed some slightly cooler days (if you call the 80s cooler) with the prospect of rain in the next few days to come. Maybe it will put a dent in our drought situation.
Hot and humid, full of mosquitoes. That's Florida for you. (Although, mosquitoes aren't technically weather, they don't make it much better. )
The weather has been really funky here today. It has been sunny but not too hot so I have been able to go outside. I have a feeling that the rain will be back soon but thankfully at least the rain has not been persistent
The weather has been very nice here. I was able to take my rabbits outside and let them run more than they can in the house.
As I thought it would be the rain is here at the moment but it is brightening up. So maybe the wash load that I have got out on the line will not have to stay out there for days until it is dried.
Edited to add in todays wether report so save the double post:
It is nice and sunny here today. It is not too hot though so I will be able to hopefully catch up with the washing.
It has rained I'm the kind of guy that loves rain but when I saw it after the drought I really loved it.

That is really funky I bet it was fab seeing the rain after a draught.
I too really love the rain but it has been raining so much here there are some days I just want to get the washing dry or be able to sit in the local park and read.
Shoot yeah! All my praying paid off. I like reading too
It's delightful right now. I'm working in Irvine the sun is bright and there is a wonderful breeze.
Not here....the breese is gone here and it's starting to get hot again.Cen Cal
I hate the sun sometimes. It's just so bright. And shiny. And it makes me sneeze when I come out of my dairy cooler into the over-hot air. I hate having a layer of sweat drenching me. I hate the constant feel of dehydration. I guess it makes a nice change from below 0 weather like we have in winter though. I live in the land of two extremes- Hot as hell and cold as Hoth. Lovely.
Sorry Milba. Jersey's like that too sometimes. I hate the sun too, if nothing else that it makes my skin burn and has the power to blind me. It's always so bright and so I have a bad sunglass tan, from living in my sunglasses.
Today has been another funky day weather wise
It has been warm and while it has been cloudy there has been times that it has been clear.
Edited to add:
Today it has been cloudy and drizzly at times. For tomorrow we have been given severe weather warnings
"Severe storms blew through Northwest Montana Wednesday night, with lightning and strong winds sending emergency crews in all directions. Trees were uprooted, downed power lines caused numerous fires and widespread outages, and winds blew in excess of 70 mph for a period of several hours.
“I’ve never really seen anything like this in the seven years I’ve been here, and this is widespread,†said Bob Nester, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
Winds near [townname] topped 60 mph. Trees reaching 20 inches in diameter blew over north of Bigfork. Hail up to one inch wide pelted Polson.
By 11 p.m. Wednesday, the line of thunderstorms extended from 32 miles west of [townname] to six miles east of Bigfork.
The National Weather Service confirmed reports of a tornado touching down between Polson and Ronan, but no damage assessments were available late Wednesday night. There were reports of another tornado south of Polson near Rock Point Road and a funnel cloud building over [name] Lake between [name] and [name] counties, but meteorologists were unable to confirm them. Winds caused trees in Polson as thick at 16 inches in diameter to snap.
[name] County was also hit pretty hard, Nester said. Flooding was reported in Libby as up to 4 inches of rain poured down in half an hour. Winds up to 80 mph toppled the screen at a drive-in movie theater and swept away baseball field backstops there.
Most of the storms that reached [name] County built off more severe storms sweeping through areas south and west of [townname], Nester said.
Still, dispatchers at the [name] County Sheriff’s Office worked frantically to keep up as dozens of emergency calls poured in. At one point, every fire department in [name] County had units responding to fires, downed utility poles, or car accidents.
Flash flood warnings were issued for [townname] and [townname] as the storm system moved northeast, but rain severe enough to cause flooding failed to materialize.
Massive power outages were reported all over [name] County, [name] said. Power lines were reported down on East Cottonwood Drive, Shady Lane, Lower Valley Road, Homestead Road, Jaquette Road, and McCaffery Road. Transformers blew on Lutheran Camp Road and West Spring Creek Road. Many of those lines had fallen across roads and blocked traffic. Others started grass or structure fires.
Power went out in most of [townname] at 9 p.m. and was not restored until early Thursday morning for many customers. A spokesperson for [name] Electric Cooperative said crews were working to handle downed wires, as well as to restore power to [townname] and other locales.
Power was restored to some parts of [townname] by 2 a.m. Thursday.
Strong winds blew the 60-foot long roof off the grandstand at The Arena. One horse was killed, but no people were injured. A gas line blew on Shady Lane, which was exceptionally dangerous because a downed power line was sparking nearby. The Department of Natural Resources and Conservation did contain a fire burning in [townname] throughout the storm."
That's from our newspaper. It was crazy this morning. I went in to work, I work a grocery store, and we had our entire freezer section stripped and sitting in a refer truck out back, and all of meat dept. was stripped down and in a refer truck. They were just starting on Wall Deli and were going to hit dairy next, but luckily the power came back on by then. Our store was without power from 9PM onwards, I'm not sure when it came back on, but they had to shut down and lock up the store, sent home all the checkers, baggers, customers, etc. Our computers didn't come back online till a little after 6AM. The phones finally kicked in around 6 too. We had cardboard from bales strewn all over the back lot of the store that we had to pick up. Meat dept. ended up losing a few hundred dollars worth of meat. Frozen was a bit mushy but doing ok. Dairy, my dept. was doing good, all my stuff was sealed up behind doors so it was running a bit high temp but doing good.
The willow trees in my yard lost a lot of branches, took two hours with two people to clean them all up.
Jeez, I ask for a little rain and I get this instead. :P
Its pretty freak'n hot down here in Miami, also gets so humid you can barely breath.
Yikes Milba! That sounds like some crazy weather drama if you ask me.
Yesterday it was forecasted to have torrential rain so I went prepared when I went to collect my book but it was sunny.
Today however it has been raining so at least the wet weather clothes did not go to waste
