**Sorry guys, had been waiting for a few more players before posting more...**
Utath stalked her way towards her home but was drawn to the races. She was tired but needed something to cheer her up. Besides she'd heard that the fledgling resistance was said to gather at the races before moving on to more secret locations.
Deep in thought, Utath accidently bumped into a guy gazing at a Twi'lek. From her previous time as a Jedi assistant, she knew that this man was a Jedi, even if he was trying to be discrete. "A little far from home aren't you?" Utath asked.
"Hey, watch it!" He growled, ready to throw a punch at whoever bumped him. When he saw it was a woman, his expression changed from angry to surprised to friendly.
"Hold whatever thought you have Que," He told his Dug companion, turning back to the woman. "To answer your question, it depends on whether or not Nar Shaddaa is far from here or not." He smiled, winking.
Utath smiled, "Since when do your kind hang around Nar Shaddaa?"
The Jedi shrugged, "I'm sorry, you'll have to be more specific about my kind."
Utath raised a brow at that. "So you want to keep your occupation a secret. Fair enough, this place doesn't take to well to Force users at the moment."
"Quite intuitive aren't you." He said examining her more thoroughly. "I can tell you're not one of the newly arrived Sith."
"Glad to hear it. I'd be disappointed if you couldn't perceive that." Utath pointed out. "So what's so intriguing with the yellow Twi'lek? I believe she's unavailable if you know what I mean."
"I'm not intrigued." He pouted.
Utath laughed. "I think it was your tongue I tripped over when I bumped into you. I'm sure it was hanging on the ground."
"So that's why I had a weird taste in my mouth," He quipped.
"Anyway, I'm not a.."Jedi" so to say. I'm more...in the middle. Not totally Jedi, not totally Sith. I could go either way." He nodded. "But at the moment, I'm working as a Jedi."
"Oh, and I was raised on Nar Shaddaa, that's why I hang around there." He tossed his head, flinging his hair out of his eyes.
Utath raised a brow. "I see. Well I suppose I should leave you to your endeavours with the lovely yellow Twi'lek. Just make sure you don't follow her home." Utath said with a wink.
"Hey wait, aren't you going to place a bet?" He asked.
Utath shrugged, "I earn very little as it is. It'd be ashame to lose any credits."
"How about I shout you a couple of credits. The next race is in 10 minutes." He told.
Utath sighed, "I guess I'll place a bet then. Who is the favourite?"
At that moment a small group entered the room and Utath recognised a male Selkath with them. She wondered if they were part of the resistance movement. She decided to simply watch and learn. Perhaps she'd stay with the human stranger for a while.
"Number Two WAS doing good, but it looks like Number One is pulling ahead," He told her, handing her the credits she needed, flashing a charming smile as he did. "They're practically neck in neck though."
As she placed her bets, a group walked in. "They your friends?" He asked, noticing her looking at them.
"No, but I know the Selkath. He works in my section. I think his name is Kal'beb, but I'm not sure." Utath said and decided to place her bet on number two, hoping it would pull ahead.
She watched as the group found a booth to sit down in. "I guess we could offer to buy them a round."
He shrugged, "I'm not that rich."
Utath smiled. "Neither am I. You got a name? I'm Utath, by the way."
"If you two are occupied," Que snorted "I'll just go keep a look out for our 'friends' and collect my winnings." Que was glad to leave the to humans to their talk. He was worried that his winnings would attract the wrong kind of attention. He was also worried about the Gen'dai was up to. He sensed that he would have a large role in the time to come. And not nessasarely for the good. He hoped that they could meet the resistance soon. He had credits to spare now. A lot of credits.
Aphotic walked thourgh the streets as though he was a newlywed man who found the Twi'lek of his dreams.
Though this was not the case, why he was realy smiling was because he knew where to find the resistance and that the police, jedi, and sith, were after him.
It was going to be a good day.
"Okay, tell me if you find anyone," Rekk said to Que, a bit distraced.
"I'm Rekk Dennar." He smiled, taking her hand and kissing the back of it. ((Yeah, he's a flirt ))
Utath blinked as she realised that the Jedi had company. She really was tired. So his name was Rekk Dennar, she wondered why that name sounded familiar. However she was startled when he kissed her hand, it was a first for her. "You're a real smoothy it would seem." She grinned.
Rekk smiled, "Yeah I can't help it."
Utath chuckled. Then her attention returned to the race as it drew to the finish. It was very close but number two made it over the line first. "Yes!" Utath cheered as she jumped up and down excitedly. "That's the first time I've won in ages. You must be good luck."
It was at that moment that the small party of suspected resistance members, got up from their table and headed for the side exit.
He smiled. "Well, that's the first time someone ever said I was good luck," He said, running a hand through his dark hair.
He glanced over at the group, smile fading. "Hey, those guys seem awfully suspicious, slinking around like that," He said, narrowing his eyes. "I wonder what they're up too."
Utath twitched her eyebrows, "How about we follow them, discretely."
Rekk nodded with a grin and extended his arm. Utath linked her arm through his and they walked along, appearing like a happy couple.
"Looks like they're heading out towards the Republic zone." Utath whispered.
"Do you think the Republic is supporting the resistance?" Rekk asked quietly.
Utath shook her head, "No I don't think so. They wouldn't risk their trade in Kolto."
"Then they're supporting the either the Sith, which I highly doubt, or they have their own agenda," Rekk said, keeping his voice low so that no one heard him. "I wonder what they could be up to."
((Sorry, shorty post... ^^; ))
Utath chewed her lip. "I'd say they want to keep separate from all parties, at least initially. They probably want to get rid of either the Sith or the Republic or even both. But I suspect they want to get rid of the Sith. This Resistance has only come into being since they arrived."
Rekk nodded his understanding and decided to ask her further questions about the Resistance's origin later. "Do they look to be going anywhere obvious?"
Utath shook her head. "No, that makes me wonder if they've spotted us. But they're not giving any sign of it if they have. Can you sense anything with the For- I mean with your gift?"
"I noticed that you're very forgetful of those that are with you." stated Que, feeling irked that they just tried to leave without warning him. "They might be waiting for someone to join them. Some friends. Some friends with newly acquiered wealth. They'll need cash, if they're independant. If not, then we'd better find out who their working for and what their up to." Que was uneasy. Rekk was getting more and distracted by the girl. This was not a time for distraction he thought. He then realised that he himself was distracted by many things himself. There was the money, lots of money, and what he could do with that money. He could finance a revolution. Well, at least start one. And what with his leadership, it could be a succes. The end of years of oppresstion. The... No. He mustn't think of that. It was this distraction that drove him to his other distraction. The sith. He'd need to be careful that while fighting that which he most hated, well, second most, he did not scummb to it. Again.
((Finally...My first character sheet got misplaced in notepad for this one and I still cannot find the file...So I just used Demagol instead...Is that okay Mel?))

Demagol finished wiping the blood off his tools, and put them neatly back on the small tray.
"Hm..." He looked at the dead Jedi on the table, thinking..."Monster." That's what they called him. A monster. Everyone, Jedi, Sith, and Mandalorians alike called him a sick and twisted being; nothing but an empty shell encased in armor. Some rumored that he was not a man at all, but a droid.
"No one is that heartless." They would say. Not true at all.
"Such fools do not understand the importance of the research I've gathered from these experements." No, from his point of view he was merely a biologist. On rare occasion out of his armor, Demagol wondered what it was like not to be hated, but to enjoy life. Not to be the person that he was. But that thought passed within 5 seconds.
"Well, with what my dulled senses can pick up they haven't seen us yet. Let's just hope it stays that way until we find ot some information," He said. He then turned when he heard a voice from behind them.
"Oh, sorry Que," he said, grinning sheepishly. "Actually, it sounds like you may be on the right track."
**Hey Revan, glad to have you join the party **
Utath blinked, she thought that Rekk's companion had left but it appeared not. She felt suddenly embarrassed at being so rude. "Um, Rekk would you please introduce me to your friend. I don't want to offend him any further."
Rekk nodded looking a little flustered himself, "This is Que."
Utath outstretched a hand in greeting, "I'm Utath."
"Hello. You'd do good not to abandon those who only wish to help. But, enough. Let's find out what their up to." Que stated. "A simple hello wound't hurt. After all, it would be best to join them early if we're going to join them at all.
