you are led to think that boba fett and han solo had a long history with each other, but in the holiday special han solo appears to meet boba fett for the first time

I've watched it before, and I was never led to believe that. Besides, there are plenty of books/comics that go against that.
And... is the Holiday Special even really considered canon? (or atleast, less canon than the novels?)
actually lucas has disavowed the "holiday special". he wont even let it be shown again.
so no cannon for it. but i still enjoyed the cartoon part.
in the early years the starwars continuity was doo doo. it seems to be getting better now, kinda...

The cartoon was semi-canon, that was how Luke and Boba first met. The rest= stuff.
But, in the cartoon anyways, wasn't Solo unconcious? Maybe Chewie didn't know of their history, if there was one, and Boba didn't mention it. Han didn't even know who had caught him in the first place.
Right?
Maybe we can also take into consideration the armor color? He could have just been a different Mando to Solo since Boba did have a few sets that were different colors.
