Shion was on her feet in an instant, activating the shielding on her armor and raising her rifle. The tank kept rolling, which did little for her aim. Peering through the scope she began search for the offending soldier. A flash of firey orange caught her eye and she focused on what looked like a droid.
((Rev, I'm going to wound HK badly enough to screw with his memory, but not badly enough to kill him, that way he can become a bigger part of the storyline. If you have any objections to this, I will glady change my post. Just let me know.))
"Hold fire!" she shouted to the surrounding tanks. "HOLD FIRE!"
The tanks ceased their firing for a few seconds, allowing Shion to aim at the droid on the cliff. He was still just an orange droid-shaped dot, but he wounded Territ, and that was enough to make her scale the cliff and rip the thing to shreds with her bare hands if she had to. She grit her teeth, the anger threatening to overpower her discipline, and fired.
One orange dot came plummeting down, until its shape became clear. It was some model she had never seen before. But it snagged countless vines and branches as it came down, slowing its fall. It landed with fried circuits and a few dents. The techs would repair it and put it to use.
She dropped her rifle and it clattered away across the top of the tank. The hatch was covered in blood...
"Territ!" she barely restrained herself from shouting the name in panic. She jumped down, coming up behind him in terror of what she might see. It wasn't that she was a stranger to death. But it was -Territ.-
I was supposed to have his back, she thought shamefully.
"Territ?" she called again.
"I reject your reality and substitute my own!"
