We're running the exact same software, I believe, which is called Mediawiki.

Just a quick note to anyone with an iPhone viewing the site:
- Click the "+" icon on the Safari mobile browser
- Click the "Add to Home Screen" link
- Check out the new BFFC icon, with art by our member and mod, Cujo

Not-for-profit, so shirts would be at-cost. Win-win for everyone.

Sounds good. I guess the best way to do it would be to pay for it in advance then you use the money to make the shirt. Granted it would be a longer turn around, but we arent really fashion oriented (Not me anyways) so maybe we arent really worried about how long we would have to wait for our Shirts.
I just think you should make one that says "Got Fett?" and has a picture of Boba aiming at the viewer.

Don't really know what you mean. On our user registration page, there's a field to enter a specific CAPTCHA code, which helps prevents robot/spam registration.

I think you're confused because, as far as I'm aware of, there's no such thing as a spambot blocker. There are ways to help keep them out, like manually entering codes when registering, or by having admins approve new member registrations by hand. But an actual program that does it automatically? They don't exist.

I actually haven't logged in for about 2 years,and I have to say this place rocks more than before!It seems more tidy and yet with new features that don't burden the site with tons of info...congrats!

yup, back in tha day...
As for updates/work, I don't know if it's my browser or what, but I have a hard time navigating back to the 'Message Boards' home page. Say, like right now as I'm looking at this thread, I can scroll up and see the 'Message Boards' link with the others on the top left side of the windowhighlighted in yellow, but it's not letting me hit it so I can navigate back to it. It's just dead when I try to click on it. When I'm in the chat it's not even there, and when I try to hit 'Recent Posts' I'm sent to a page that says I've hit a bad link or something like that.
Also, just as a side note, my karma thingy never got reactivated. I see my old score in the top members board, but I can't give/take anybody else's karma and I can't the option in my profile options to reactivate it. Just a heads up in case any other members are having the same issue; I don't mind it either way

Ralin, I never noticed it but what you said about not being able to click on "Message Boards" is the same for me. I never use that link though, I always use "Index".
Reality doesn't care if you believe in it.

Yeah, it's not a huge deal.
It was really annoying for a bit as that was the link I used to use all the time, but I've noticed now that I can hit the board's home page from the 'Community' drop down links. Just thought I'd mention it in case it's part of a bigger issue that Aaron shoud know about
