Sorry to bring a sour note but apparently at MTV they aren't wasting any time to make a max on his back. What with the huge show with Madonna and Janet, don't tell me this is not going in anyone's pockets. And the bidding for the place right above him in the cemetery, come on, lol. They probably make more now than he's been making since several years while he was alive.
The irony, is that the media themselves contributed directly to destroy him as a person and his reputation. They are trying to make him glow as holy now, lol.
I laugh loud, because a few months ago, whenever you heard of him in the news, on TV, or in magazines, you could be sure to see a really bad picture, with the quite ungenerous comments you can expect. They say whatever sells, doesn't matter to them who they make or break in the process. Now that he is dead, Michael Jackson will sell more if he becomes a Legend. So be(at) it...
I used to be a fan back in the Thriller era, when Madonna and Culture Club were his main "competitors" on top of the world. The unclear stories about him with children have been a turn off, and my musical tastes changing over time, I turned to other bands and singers later.
I still think it's sad that he's always been so fragile and eventually died. He suffered a great deal in his short life.
