Whta do you guys hink aused the gas prices to drop?

This should kind of be a no brainer question shouldn't it? I'd think it would be because of the falling economy which in turn would effect the oil prices?

Economy sucks --> people are broke --> people don't drive as much to save expensive gas --> demand for gas goes down --> gas prices drop.

I think the value of currency has dropped world wide. Organisations aren't doing as much business so they're not buying as much fuel so the oil companies have to finally play ball.
It's down to $1.20 per litre here, still expensive compared to what you guys pay...

We dipped below a dollar per litre for the fist time in ages. About 95 cents I believe.

I believe they mean per liter, as Mel said. Google says: 1 liter = 0.264172052 US gallons

well my per gallon price cheapest spot in my area is get this.... 1.95 a gallon! UNDER 2 BUCKS! (although I remember when it was .95 ......) I almost bought a Ram today in celebration.

It's $1.87 over here and I'm frightened of it. It seemed before like the lower the prices dropped, the higher they would go the next time around. I'm waiting for it to jack back up again to like $10. I pray it doesn't, but we'll see. In the mean time, I'm glad it's down this low since I'm having a decreased income next semester with my campus job.
I hope it sticks.
