Topic: Bane or Vader, who'd win?

Pretty simple who'd ja think would win in a one-on-one dule? Darth Vader or Darth Bane?
Personaly I think Bane would but what do you all think. Just wonder'n. smile

Bane would do Vader in without blinking.  I am almost sure of that.

Just so happened to get on the internet at this time.  But the gap between Bane and Vader means huge amounts of Sith knowledge lost.  And knowing Bane found Revan's holocrons, he has infinite more power than Vader.

I'll play Devil's Advocate here and say Vader. He was born from the will of the Force. That must mean he's pretty damn strong. With the suit I don't think he would win, though. Pre-suit Vader would probably win in my opinion. He got a lot weaker after he was defeated by Obi-Wan.

we haven't really seen Bane in action, I don't doubt him, but Vader was a natural.

I think Bane would win fairly comfortably.

But Vader was ment to destroy the sith. I belive that means all sith.

Hey here's another point. Bane is a kick-butt sith lord with an apprentice. Darth Vader is the apprentice...though he's pretty kick-butt too... and he had a secret apprentice... and Wow! my head hurts. mad

I'd go with Vader. He's the Chosen One and he even turns back to the light side (with the help of Luke but still) and Bane couldn't ever do that.

Vader had the highest midi-clorian count ever. he was much stronger in the force than Bane, and would probably win.

Yay but Vader plainly said that his old name had no meaning to him anymore, so I'm guessing neither did anything of his old life including powers of the Light Side.

Pre-suit Vader was pretty weak. If he had never been put into a suit, yeah by the time it was A New Hope he'd be able to give Bane a run for his money. Unfortunately he was put into the suit which made him considerably weaker. As a result I'm certain Bane would destroy him and then destroy him again, then go back in time and kill him twice. Without taking a breath.

Pre-suit Vader wasn't weak per say he just didn't have the knowledge to put him over the top.  That's why Sidious never really feared or respected Vader after his accident.  He was majorly inhibited by his suit and would never ever become what he was (in Sidious's mind) destined to.

Though Vaders power overall is considerable, and shouldnt be taken lightly. Not by a long shot.

Ok, i dont think that vader could be considered weak, he was slow, but he was strong. Again though, just what i said before. I think Bane would win

Bane wasn't crippled though, he was able to reach his peak capacity.
Bane's peak capacity may well have been no where near Vader's had Vader not become crippled on Mustafar. As a result of that incident I'm sure his peak power was less than that of Bane's.
