Topic: armor poll

im running out of ideas for my armor and i thought you guys could help.
im going for a traditional kind of mandalorian look, kind of predator-like.
if anybody has some ideas or tips, let me know.

Well it's kinda difficult to suggest ideas without seeing your whole suit together as one piece (ie: a head to foot photo) but what about stylised rastas? That fits your Mandalorian Crusader theme AND that of the Predator too.

I would suggest wristblades. If I ever make mando armor it would definitely have some

wrist blades i have thought about, actually am working on some...or i was, i will find them.

I second the wrist blades; hope to have some for my armor *just check my AoS character sheet for what I hope to have on my armor.*  Other then that, not sure.  Maybe some fingerless biker gloves as a minor touch if you don't mind going without the usual 'sealed from the atmo' look.  Not sure about a Kama, but I think having kama/loin-cloth like accesories hanging from your belt might help your Tribal look.

lol, no loin cloth.
maybe a kama though. i just took some pics(i literally just got the last of the armor off as i started the computer)
the pics should be up....in about 20 min. actually.
they are pics of my complete set of armor.
with only the unfinished jetpack and the cape thing not shown.
i found some suitable blades for a gauntlet too.

Have you possibly thought of some kind of hy-bryd dread-locks, take Fett he had Wookie scalps braded around one arm. You could use something similar off your helmet, to decern kills or rank.

The kama and wristblades are good ideas. Do wristblades like Jango Fett's. And if you haven't, put a mandalorian skull symbol. (Isn't it a myosaur skull or something?)

Not sure that's solid.  Looks like somebody was aiming to explain the DeathHead skull, but I wouldn't buy it personally.  Is it explained why the Mandos would All Honor that dude??  I'm sticking with the story that it's a Mythosaur *cause it's DAMN SURE not a friggin Bantha skull as it's commonly called*

I have always been a fan of big forearm braces, they could be oversized in the middle and in principle could be used to absorb blows or deflect bolts.  The center could be honed to a point to serve as a blade and the ends sharpened.,  The thought is that the two of them together could be the size of a small shield and help provide extra protection.

but i dont think i have the materials to do that right now sad
update-i have made some spring loaded wrist blades to but on my gauntlet. push a button, and the blades spring out. its pretty sweet.

Mandalorian flight suits are in actual fact modified boiler suits. I posted a guide to making the flight suit  as part of the Making a Mando thread here: http://www.bobafett.com/boards/viewtopic.php?id=2261 hope that helps. DON'T go out and get a military flight suit, they are the wrong shape.
