if you get the rubies helmet, it is made of soft rubber. when i got mine it had melted and collapsed in storage at the store, i put in a thick wire and now it looks just fine.

it has a l.e.d. by the visor that flashes and 4 button activated sounds.
i put them in a few days ago.
tore apart a toy helicopter...
now it says:
-enemys are located
-3,2,1, fire!
-detonation sequence activated, -followed by a countdown
-and machine gun fire

pretty cool huh?
i saw iron man, got all hyped up and wanted a talking computer in my helmet.
so far it works

Re: my custom mandalorian costume

ouch, that sucks that your parents wont let you build your own armor Karson

Really nice rig Regimas.  I like the color scheme, and the teeth really are a nice affect; never thought to use something like that, it's a really good idea.  Can't wait to see it with boots  tongue

that's FRIGGIN BRILLIANT!!!  not sure how accurate it would be, considering com traffic between mandos would be inside your helmet, and probably not heard by others like with Clone Commandos, but still, Great idea

I'm gathering all the needed parts for my armor, and hope to be making some real progress with it in the next couple of months

Re: my custom mandalorian costume

...yeah, im working on finding boots.
and im glad you like the sounds idea, it is much louder inside the helmet than out, so it could be accurate...but not quite. its just cool. the buttons are right behind the earpiece and the micro chip and everything else is under the piece of foam with wires sticking out.
i dont know how skilled you are at making costumes but if you need any help just ask me ralin.
glad you like it

Ahhhhh, ok.

For some reason I pictured you haveing them in your glove/gauntlet.  That's an even better idea to have it inside your helmet.  Not sure that all Mando's helmets were sound proof like the Commandos, so it's possible that could be accurate.  Either way, it's a neat affect to push a button on the side of your helmet like that to activage your com; adds a modern military affect that works well with Mando armor I think.

As for boots, I'm going with tall, stove top cowboy boots similar to Solo's *I used to be a cowboy on some level, and had the boots already, and I just love tall boots anyway for SW characters, so that's how I'm going to roll for the time being,* but if I wasn't doing that, I might try finding some surplus military jump-style boots and have a lace on 'spat' like Boba has to cover the laces.  Either idea might work for you

Really good job *cyber thumbs up  big_smile *

Re: my custom mandalorian costume

im glad you like the button idea, i think its pretty cool.
the tall laced boot look is what i will try to find, cowboy boots is a good idea.
maybe put some shin guards on top of them.

the spikes on top are real alligator claws.
as you can see i have no visor yet, still working on that.
i got inspired last night when i saw a picture of an ancient mandalorian(very predator like)
to the despair of my parents inspiration struck at like 1:30 in the morning....
but anyways, tell me what you think
