So, the power to send a nuke anywhere in the world (I did a tad bit of research), or the ability to wipe out every living thing in the galaxy? By the way, Scarabs have 90 foot tall legs. They're bigger than anything else. Cept Halo and the Covenant Destroyers. But its the whole super strong, 1/6 reaction time thing that would really tell--Snake may be awesome, I won't say he isn't, whether I know or not, but the Chief is simply too fast and too strong. Close or far, Snake wouldn't stand a chance against a Spartan.

Nope. I will never...ever....ever believe that Masterchief would beat Snake 1 on 1. Theres no way. Snake is such a killing machine... His Close Quarters Combat would be used to counter MC's speed and strength. Several of those enemy bosses Snake has beaten had super strength, speed, both, or some other super ability. Yet Snake defeated them through his sure knowledge and adaptability of the battle field. He is a soldier through and through: the BEST soldier. Snake would find a way no matter what. His whole being and character is that of someone who bests all the opponents he meets on a battlefield, any kind or type of soldier imaginable. Masterchief just seems like someone that would provide Snake with practice...

Whats Haloid?

Haloid (Halo-Metroid) is a video made by some guy who replied to a "Who would win in a fight? Master Chief or Samus Aran?" Everyone knows that Samus would beat Chief, the video was mad cool, but the ending sucks, like Sev said for me.

But 10 yards to what? A Spartan? They're shielded and their armor is also extremely tough against bullets. Elites? They're also tough, armored, and shielded. Brutes? Even tougher, sometimes shielded, always armored. They're toughness is coupled with a primitive mind which means they can keep going even when they're technically dead. Flood? They're scarcely technically alive, and damage to their host body doesn't affect them the way it would affect the actual being when it was alive. In Halo, the beings are simply better armored and are tougher. Halo's somewhat unrealistic in many areas, but weapon power and effects can be explained.
