My mom didn't really help me with it, she only did a few things. She brought chairs and tables, helped set up, but that's about it I think. Well, and she did the food. So I could do pretty much what I wanted. Besides, she said it was ok because it's my wedding and has to be special to me.
Reality doesn't care if you believe in it.
