What? me likee...what? My coloring or the cool cartoon. (I think a mando cartoon would be sweet) please be more specific.

Been a while for me here!  Here's the last Mando thing I've done:  I did NOT draw this, only colored it.  Kuk-Man drew the figure, and with his permission, I copied (traced from a printout) and did the coloring using Prismacolors on tracing paper.
I wanted to see how Prismas acted on that kind of paper, and it didn't turn out too bad.

Kind of an old thread, but the thread title seemed to fit the best.  I mentioned before that I had commissioned Tom Hodges to do some artwork of Kal Skirata and Walon Vau for me back at the Comic Con last year.  He's been sending emails letting me know it's still on it's way and that's he's finally catching up to backdated commissions.  He sent an email the other day saying it would be mailed out this week, so I'm still waiting in anticipation.  However, while looking on Wookieepedia today, someone was asking about some artwork that was supposed to be of Walon Vau and was wondering if it was a fan-made image.  When I looked at it, low and behold, it stuck out as a Tom Hodges artwork.  After doing some looking around, I found his Deviant Art page and it also had it on there, as well.

Now, I'm really excited about getting this in the mail soon.  Looks awesome.  It'll look great up with the rest of the Mando figures on the shelf.  My wife had commisioned one of her co-workers, who's also an artist, to do a work of some Republic Commando's as an anniversary gift for me this year (good wife). 

That turned out really cool, as well.  I think they'll look really great up on the wall beside each other.  At least, I hope.

Anyway, just figured I'd show them off to anyone who was interested.  I really do like the Walon and Kal pic, though.  Very cool.  Been waiting a long time for that to come in.  I thought it was really neat he even added Kal's Verpine sniper rifle in there with him, too. 

Yeah, I told him Vau's armor was supposed to be black, but I guess with the background being black, you have to lighten out the armor for contrast.  I'm guessing he did the colors of Kal's armor based on previous artwork, a custom Kal Skirata helmet a fan made for Karen Traviss (complete with those scratch marks), and from the Mij Gilamar figure (that was originally supposed to be a Kal Skirata figure, but the head sculpt looked too young).
