Not a cheat.  At the end on the Star Forge.  If you are aligned with the Dark Side there is a room in the Star Forge that creates robes.  It only supplies you with the robe and not the mask etc.  The light side version is really lame if you ask me.  They are kind of puffy.  But the dark side robes are awesome.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!, I thought you guys had a super secret cheat/hack that would give you the armor/robe all through the game or something.  The black robe at the end *as I rember it* is the same thing as the lame Jedi robe, just in black.  Not bad, but not Revan's robe either

Well I did see this one vid on youtube where its before Revan is on the Star Forge, after he and Bastila kills everyone else and they are on the Ebon Hawk, where it would appear that he has some form of Dark hooded cloak/ robes. They look like to me like they are Revan's. I could be wrong though. I'll try to find the link to that one. (when I'm not at work...)

KORTOR IS THE BEST!!!!!!!  It's where I discovered my FAVORITE Mano, KELBORN!  He and the other Mandos MAKE KOTOR II!  KOTOR I is probably a little bit better game, but II is my favorite with so many Mandos *and almost friendly ones this time!*

By the way, everyone just so you know the best armor in all of KOTOR 1 is Cassus Fett's armor fully upgraded. Do not argue, it's in the guide. Calo Nord's may be overall better, but as far as pure defense, Cassus Fett's has the most defense, +14 I think. You get it on Dantooine from Adum Larp for a huge sum (more than HK-47) it's like 15000 credits I think. I don't know if Cassus is related to Jango or not, but I would assume so.

Wish I knew more about Cassus.........  Where is he in the EU?

and on topic, I usually went with robes, either the dark blue or black.  I just had a hard time in the blaster/armor roll and enjoied the lightsaber action more.  I really need to get the game back out and replay it in a more Mando fashion just for the challenge

If you havn't played any good RPGs up to now, you'll LOVE KOTOR I !  KOTOR II is fun to, but the first one has better story, and the background info helps you figure out whats going on in the timeline.

I'm sure you'll love it Devil Girl, well worth the time. My question is how do you get enough credits to buy the Cassus armor? I never do, even by the end of the game.

It's very hard at that level when you first see it. The trick is to pick up EVERYTHING that you find. And I mean everything, From the Republic ship through Taris, and all of Dantooine, then you just sell it to whoever will buy it for the most credits. You may also have to give up certain things you find that you don't want to give up, just remember who you sold it to so you can buy it back.

LOL I went to install the game this morning only to find that my DVD drive had died sad (I have had it for 11 years so it has lasted really, really well) but I still wish it would have lasted until I had put the game on.

I have ordered a new one that will arrive tomorrow so I will be able to put it on then big_smile

I have installed it and have managed to play a little of it so far (I will get back on soon) but I am really enjoying it so far. I think I am going to really enjoy this game big_smile (LOL that is until I get stuck that it wink )

Hehe it is strange playing a single player game as the only games I have played for a while are online games.

In the online games when you get a quest you generally just follow the instructions but in KOTOR you have to think about what you need to do next.

I was stuck on how to get out of the upper city but I figured that out big_smile it is a nice change to have to think about what I have got to do next (LOL I also have a bit of a crush on my characters companion)

Hehe I may have worked that out but it took me ages to work out how to get into the cantina, oops. I kept trying to click on the lock instead of just clicking on the door so now I have discovered the delights of Pazakk and duelling big_smile
