I have only spotted this thread this morning.

I waited to reply properly so I waited until Devil Boy had taken my eldest out for a walk and the twins are napping (LOL well supposed to be but I can hear them blethering to each other )

Anyway that is not nice that you are having a tough time at the moment (hugs) I really hope that things pick up for you soon.

I was bullied when I was at school (my mum was a teacher at the same school that I went to) it was really hard. I ignored it at the time. This then meant that whoever was calling me names got bored after a while but sadly someone else would start afterward so it meant that I was bullied for pretty much five years.

This had a bad effect on me. It killed my confidence and self esteem. I thankfully have my confidence and self esteem back but it took a long time and a lot of work.

Another thing that I struggled with was feeling like I do not fit in anywhere. Now i am very comfortable with who I am and where I fit in. I think for that it just takes time and experience to do this. The only thing I can say about that is that it is not wrong to be different (those who call you for being different are just too scared to be so) the world would be an incredible dull place if we were all the same.

From my experience about bullying the only thing I can say to you is to do something about your situation now (I know it is easier said than done but it will be worth it if you are able to, just take one step at a time though)

From what I understand Martial arts are really good for helping develop your confidence. I am not saying beat your bullies to a pulp but I think it would give you the confidence to be able to turn around to them and tell them that you will not tolerate what they are doing any more. You may not want to do that but it might be worth finding an interest to help build your confidence.

Good luck with whatever you do. I really hope that you are able to improve your situation.

What gave you that impression F3TT? Has someone come out and actually said that? I don't think it would having anything to do with not being from the UK or USA, as we have many multicultural members here. AU, Greece etc.

I got bullied today at school. one of my emo friends ( not me! ) ( looks behind shoulder ) wanted a ringtone of the AK-47 machine gun on my mobile phone. Sony Ericsson K66oi. CLASS! It was cool, but then my arch-enemy  - Reece Lacey, was being a dick and started saying I was gay and crap like that. I AM NOT GAY! I am too young to be anyway. What should I do? He respondes with other people and they agree with him?!!?!?!?

Do you know if your school has a zero-tolerance policy? Most if not all schools in the U.S. have a policy, where there will be no tolerance for bullying or bullies. (Thats why they are called zero-tolerance.) I am not one for "tattling" as a whole, but this seems to be more than just a one time occurance that you are really bothered with. Check with your mom or principal/ headmaster to see what the rules on bullies are. Then make sure you tell those who are in a place of power to make it stop. They might seem hard but in the long run it might be better.
