Re: RPG: Age of Skywalker

*Better late then never I guess. Ralin encouraged me to join… I’m not yet up to date with this whole story so please be patient*

Name: Tealani Reneg
Age: 26
Species: Human (daughter to a Clone Trooper and a Republic Nurse)
Occupation: Bounty Hunter
Weapons: Many but she mainly relies on her EE3 blaster and various throwing vibro-blades.
Armour: Adapted armour of the Mandalorians (think KOTOR era), painted a dull grey with highlights of orange around the face plate.
Appearance: Rarely takes off her armour in public. Without the armour she is an athletic female almost on the muscular side. Has a hard face and scar that runs from the right side of her nose to her ear – hence her reason for keeping the armour on.

She considers herself an honorary Mandalorian from the little time she spent with her father. His upbringing had links to the Mandalorian culture and Tealani held such beliefs in high esteem. Raised mainly by her mother, Tealani is unforgiving as her mother gave her rough love on how to survive in a galaxy of corruption.

-

It was Tealani’s first visit to Keldabe and so far she liked what she saw. She had travelled in pursuit of a bounty. It was worth a lot of money but Tealani’s motives were not necessarily money orientated. With her felinx on her shoulder, Tealani moved with a purpose. It was time to find her merchandise, it wasn’t going to be hard with the trial of bodies left in their wake.

As Tealani walked forward she saw her quarry leaving a cantina alone. Tealani began to follow Ralin at a distance, for the time being she only wanted to talk to him.

Re: RPG: Age of Skywalker

Cabur was glad for the change of subject.  "I haven't been off the planet in a while, I wonder when we leave?" Kell asked.  She secretly admitted to herself that she would give anything to stay on the planet for a while longer.

"No idea," She replied, and then, as an after thought, "How long have you been here?"

Kell looked back at her, "I was born here, although I later became a bounty hunter until my ship crashed a while back.  I've been here for a bit, training and getting ready for another mission to come my way.  What about you?" he asked.

Cabur knew it was an innocent question, but it was still quiet personal for her.  "Well, Solus took it upon himself to raise me when I was young and train me in the Mandalorian ways.  I've been working as a bounty hunter for a while now, since I was 15 in fact, same time I left home..." Cabur trailed off.  It had been a while since she had talked about her past, and even the small details she had just given Kell weren't anywhere as large as the full story.  They continued to walk, looking at the scenery and occasionally glancing back at the other.

Cabur stopped. "I really don't want to talk about it here, do you have somewhere where we could talk more privately?" She was looking around as she said this, there were few pedestrians, but she didnt seem to want to take any chances. Kell nodded, and decided to remove his helmet again. "Sure, right around here." He led her to a building, and opened the door, stepping inside and turning on the lights. He was in a medium sized room not very decorated, but it served his needs. "Watch your ste-" he began then turned quickly and caught Cabur as she tripped. She stared  up at him for a moment, clearly surprised by his reaction. She blushed slightly as he helped her back up. "Thanks." she mumbled, turning away from him, to examine the wall.

Re: RPG: Age of Skywalker

As Ralin entered the hole that had been blasted into the side of the PK complex, he started his search for the base's communication center.

The gray armored Mando who Ralin had seen behind him in his 360 degree field of vision seemed to be following him at one point, but he wasn't sure.  Probably nothing...... he thought as he began searching rooms, many of which had been plundered by the Mando's who'd taken it.  The armory had been stripped bare, he was amused to see.

Finally discovering the comm room, he began trying to make sense of the PK equiptment and their comunications proticals.

This is going to take a while.......

Re: RPG: Age of Skywalker

Tealani tried to stay as inconspicuous as possible as she followed Ralin. A few times she caught him looking her way and she quickly responded by doing something like look at a billboard or talk to the felinx on her shoulder.

Eventually Ralin made his way into the Communications room and Tealani idly walked by continuing her chatter to Mez her felinx. She made her way to a nearby room and immediately lifted Mez to the nearest air vent. On Mez’s collar there was small spying camera.

Activating the implants in Mez’s brain Tealani manipulated her to where she suspected Ralin would be. Sure enough the felinx found him and Tealani took a moment to study what he was doing.

Re: RPG: Age of Skywalker

Cabur turned away from Kell, hoping that he hadn't seen her blush or her look of extreme embarrassment.  She pretended to examine a spot on the wall while she composed herself.  "Do you live here?" she asked.  They stood in a rather plain room of a decent size.

"What?" he asked, some what distracted by what had just occurred. "Oh, yeah, I've lived here for a while now, it's not fancy or anything, but it has a roof and four walls.  Anyhow, what were you going to tell me?"

Cabur was about to answer him when a large explosion went off above their heads.  Dust and ruble fell on top of Kell, burying him as 5 heavily armored bounty hunters came from the ceiling above.  Cabur pulled out her pistols and attempted to shoot the hunters, but their armor was strong enough to let them get close enough to form a circle around her.  Three of them had vibroblades while the others carried strong blasters.  She managed to shoot one of the hunters with the vibroblade in the chest.  The man collapsed to the ground and did not move again.  The others did not seem to care, they just came even closer, blaster bolts flying in all directions...

Re: RPG: Age of Skywalker

Kell pulled himself out of the rubble formerly known as his roof. He pulled one of his pistols out and aimed it at one of the bounty hunters. He fired, the shot punching through the back of the hunter's helmet. Another spun, slashing at him with a vibroblade. Kell blocked it with his wristblade, shooting the hunter in the gut. Kell unslung his EE-3 and hit the next across the face, blasting him point-blank in the face. The other looked about to flee, but was put down with a few quick shots. Kell looked over, "Are you alright?"

Cabur nodded. "Yeah, are you?"

"I'm fine if you are. Any idea who that was?"

"No. I was thinking you might know."

Kell replaced his helmet. "Do you have a buy'ce? The extra protection helps."

"Yeah back at my ship, now that your house is so nicely decorated what should we do?"

"Probably go back and see the others. Tell them what happend. They might know who they were."

Cabur nodded. "Good idea. We should go before any of their buddies show up."

Kell nodded and took point, keeping his EE-3 unslung and ready.

Re: RPG: Age of Skywalker

Solus had to really think about what he was going to do in the next hour. "Kuat..." he said, drained of all emotion. "...we need to have a little...chat." Solus got out of the booth, not taking his gaze off Kuat.
Kuat reluctantly slid out, having a good idea what was about to happen. "What is it that you want from me, Mando?"
"That's what I'm about to find out." He replied coldly.
"...Solus..." Ma'ryk said calmly. "...Planning an escape?"
"No vod, just going to get some information."
"I can't let you leave."
"Who said I was? Follow me if you wish." He quickly dealt a punch to Kuat right square in the gut, then grabbed the collar of his tunic and dragged him twords the back of the cantina. Ma'ryk quickly scrambled after Solus into the back room.

It was fairly basic, a small square table with 3 chairs, 2 stand alone lamps, a window, and a small bar. Solus more or less threw Kuat down in one of the chairs without much thought, and tied him up with some fibercord. Ma'ryk closed the durasteel protection blinders on the window, then dragged one of the lamps over by the table beside Kuat and switched it on, shining directly down at him. Solus cocked his head to the side, clearly puzzled to what Ma'ryk was doing. He merely shrugged, and Solus shrugged back.
"Did I meantion how much I love interrogation?" Ma'ryk pulled a syringe from one of his belt pouches and handed it to Solus.
Solus only chuckled darkly. "Shall I go first?"
"As you wish." He grabbed one of the chairs to sit in and went outside the backroom door, closing it behind him.

"Kuat, you're going to tell me everything, even if I have to beat it out of you."
He merely smiled. "I doubt that highly, Mando."
*SWACK!* Solus backhanded Kuat with his armored glove, drawing blood.
He groaned from the pain, but then regained his composure.
"What? No little squals? I expected more from you than that." Solus stood over next to Kuat, twirling the syringe.
"This is pointless."
"Oh really, we'll see about that." He pulled the sleeve back on Kuat's arm, inserting the needle into one of the veins, then backed away. "Only a matter of time."

After 15 minutes, the stuff seemed to have worked, though it didn't really show.
"I need you to answer something for me. What do you know of the Sith?"

Ma'ryk slouched in the chair, clearly bored. He checked the Holonews broadcasts, but found no mention of Mandalorians in the KDY incident.
He almost took apart his blaster, but resisted. It had only been a small amount of time, but he just felt like doing something.
"Ey Vod, you might want to see this." Solus said over the comm.
"Yeah? What is?"
"I'm not sure, looks to be a tattoo of some kind, unusual looking for someone of his status. It runs up his left arm and shoulder, then down his back. Come take a look."
Ma'ryk went back into the room, instantly spotting it. "Wow."
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"That I be. I'll get Ralin on the comm."
"Nothing, all I got was static. They're jamming us."
"What? Our own vode?"
"It seems that way. Lemme see what else I can get out of him, find Ralin and Cabur a-sap."
"How am I supposed to trust you?"
Solus removed his helmet, gaze meeting the other Mando's T-visor. "You can trust me, vod." He put his right hand on Ma'ryk's shoulder.
He nodded back, and walked out the door.

Not 5 seconds went by, Ma'ryk re-entered the room, door wide open. "Solus..."
He turned to find and a group of SuperCommandos led by none other than...Fenn Shysa. "Osik..."

"You damn right Osik!" Fenn Shysa was here, and he meant buisness.
"You're comin' with me Solus, under arrest."

"This IS my signature."

Re: RPG: Age of Skywalker

Ma'ryk was stunned, but only for a second; he had been trained well.  Solus had helped them before, albeit with some reluctance, and he was an ally.  Now, Shysa, on the other hand, even as a leader of Mandalorians, was an unknown to Ma'ryk.  He had been away from Mandalore for so long, that he no longer fully recognized Shysa as his leader.  Therefore, he had no qualms about questioning him.

"Under what charges?" he demanded of the leader.

"Not for you to know.  Now, come along, Solus."

Ma'ryk tried to reach Ralin again with the comlink, but the signal, again, was jammed.  Fierfek.

Due to maintenance problems, the light at the end of the tunnel will not be in operation today.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Re: RPG: Age of Skywalker

As Cabur and Kell made their way back they ran into some rather unexpected guests.  The Super Commandos came up to them, making them stop.  "You two are under arrest," said one of the males, who was obviously in charge of the group of six other Commandos.  "You are to hand over your weapons and come with us, if you resist, we will take defensive measures."

"What is this all about?" Kell asked defensively as both his and Cabur's weapons were forcefully taken from them.

"You'll find out soon enough," replied another.  The Super Commandos escorted the pair back to the Cantina where Solus and Ma'ryk were surrounded by more Commandos including one Fenn Shysa.  The lead Mando from their escorting party went to Shysa and told him something that Cabur could not make out.  Shysa promptly turned towards them.

"There was another one of you, your leader," he growled at them.  "Where is he now?!"

Re: RPG: Age of Skywalker

Aliyah was at a loss for what to do. She was sent to find the missing Jedi, her own kin in the force, for Princess Leia, but simply felt lost. She hadn't traveled much and Coruscant was proving too big for her inexperience. The orange district was particularly unfriendly to outsiders and Aliyah was now fully aware of her mistake in starting there.  She began to regret even leaving the asteroid where she spent much of her life.  Left with little options she decided to drop her force mask and use what had been given her. She closed her eyes and took a few calming deep breaths.

The city world felt alive to her, the beings coming and going, their fears and joys. More anxiety than she would have liked to acknowledge. She walked to one of the older monolithic buildings, already seeing that inside there was a vast terriaum, where she would be less likely to become a target of passing individuals. There she found a secluded spot and marveled at the trees that she had never seen before. Aliyah let herself disappear into the force, hoping for guidance, looking for answers. She found them.

There was a sense that she could not explain, coming from off world. She focused on it, trying to guide the force for something more specific. Then there was a surge, and she felt the force like a beacon of light and she knew where it was coming from, a ship in orbit around Coruscant.  Aliyah opened her eyes and noted that it wasn't necessarily Tanis and his fellow Jedi. Skywalker was noting for using force adepts much like the late Emperor.  But the force guided her to this point and it would take her further.

Aliyah returned to The Spire and made for space, using the force to direct the direction that the force surge was emanating from. Soon she saw it, and felt apprehensive at approaching. So she sent a coded message back to the unknown regions, and Leia, letting her know that the Jedi had been taken aboard The Overlord's Shadow.

((Ok it’s a start... I'm trying to get into more action.. hoping this works... if not i'm more the open to suggestions. Thanks.))

Re: RPG: Age of Skywalker

((ooc: Well done so far everyone, hopefully now we can give the plot the full shape i had envisioned. I apologize for my random availability now, real life has become quite demanding lately. On with the story...))

The Overlord's Shadow
_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Lumiya rose up again, grinning at her new adversary. She was somewhat glad for the first time in a few years that she was now more machine than human. She acknowledged that despite its limitation on her progress towards full Sith Mastery, at least she could stand toe to toe with one of history's most lethal model of assassin droid and be on even footing. She suddenly became aware of a couple of familiar presences in the Force. She shunted aside her initial reaction to warn the man and the Wookie, and cursed herself for abandoning Palpatine's Sith teachings. She embraced the anger she felt at herself and the droid dressed as an Inquisitor, and plunged fully at the task at hand.

Her cybernetics and force enhanced agility, combined with the deadly lightwhip made her a blur of motion in the eyes of those witnessing the battle at hand. She threw herself fully into her former role as Emperor's Hand, swift and deadly. At one point her veil was cut from her jaw by a strike from the IG, yet she ignored it, fighting furiously in her cybernetic glory. She was angry at herself for allowing the Jedi to influence the ruthless efficiency that might have finished this sooner. She was angry at the ancient IG-100 Magnaguard who challenged her and left her feeling weak and foolish. She was furious at Darth Krayt for presuming that he was worthy of leading the Sith to their destiny as rulers of the galaxy. She was angry at Kharn for failing to live up to the darkness she felt in him as she followed his trail to this point in time, only to be snuffed out by a mundane droid.

Her anger fueled the dark-side energy she wielded in a Force push that sent her opponent reeling back to the other end of the corridor. The inanimate Inquisitor was fast on his feet, flipping and turning his legs and torso in a strange, grotesque way only a droid of his caliber could manage. She was shocked and surprised to see him return to fighting form so quickly. She was growing tired and her abilities were being heavily taxed by this engagement.

I'm not sure how long I can last...
_____________________________________________________________________________________________

I make haste to board the Overlord's Shadow and hurry towards the nearest turbolift, completely disregarding the fact that there is a minimal presence of Peacekeepers in the hangar. I enter the lift and activate its ascent to the topmost level. I am unsure at first where exactly to go. Scratch is at my side and he is obviously trying hard to contain his hunting lust. He is well trained and I can speak with him through our force bond and my beast mastery abilities, but there are limits to his self-control. I reach out in the force, seeking out familiar force signatures. I can sense the one called Kharn for only a moment. He is full of anger and engaged in some kind of fight... Had he escaped?... I can also sense an unfamiliar force user in the wake of Kharn's force presence, as well as an inanimate impression that can only be Inquisitor Xan...What's going on?...
Then, just like that, Kharn is gone. ... Dead, but...who?... I stop the lift at the level where the disturbance is strongest, making for the obvious flood of anger emanating from the stranger who seems...incomplete...diminished?, and two others. One isn't human. Scratch is at his breaking point, so I release him to track ahead.

He won't kill outright, not without my direct command.

I step onto the scene and am witness to a deadly fight between Inquisitor Xan and a strange cybernetic woman with a whip seemingly composed of both physical strands and tendrils of dark-side infused energy. I'd never seen such a weapon before, or a woman so blatently full of hatred to use it.

I walk down another corridor to think of a strategy to effectively enter the fight. A group of Peacekeepers lay dead on the floor by lightsaber wounds. The only other exit was the connecting hallway.

It made me remember when I was younger, and my father instructed me in training as a Jensaari Defender.

Father, if we as Jensaari employ Sith methods, are we considered evil as the Jedi view the Sith?

My son...some, especially the Saraai-kar, believe the Sith to be what makes us who we are. These teachings are flawed. When the Jedi came to show us how wrong we are, I had already begun to believe that what we were being taught was...incomplete. When we arrived here on Myrkr, I left your mother for a bit to find some of my own ways to improve our teachings, while avoiding the taint of the dark side. What I teach you now, is the Jensaari way. You must wield your knowledge to help defend the truth for the whole galaxy, not just our small, hidden community. When you can do that, then the Jensaari will truly be complete.

I-I don't understand, Father.

You will when the time is right, They'da...when the time is right...

My minor indulgence in a random memory was disrupted by a familiar helmeted tone.

"So I have found you."

Re: RPG: Age of Skywalker

"You are a traitor to the Empire. Your life is forfeit." The point was emphasized by the red blade which extended from Tho'un's lightsaber. Starjammer seemed confused for a moment. Dispite his confusion he drew his own lightsaber, holding it at the ready. Tho'un stood still for a moment, then slashed at Starjammer's head. Starjammer blocked the strike and attacked, but Tho'un easily blocked the strike. Starjammer struck again, and began forcing Tho'un down the hallway, towards a smaller hangar, used for shuttles and medium sized craft. A blow was directed at Tho'un's face. He raised his saber, sending the strike to the left, but the tip of the lightsaber grazed his helmet. Tho'un breathed in, the usually inaudible sound of his helmet's respirator now difficult and labored ( Think vader tongue)

Tho'un decided it was time to stop simply trading blows. He slashed at Starjammer, creating an opening simple to exploit. Starjammer lunged, and Tho'un sidestepped. Tho'un hit Starjammer with a wave of force energy, launching him into the hangar. Tho'un stepped in, searching for Starjammer.

The craft inside was Starjammer's ship. There were multiple entrances to the hangar.  There was something behind him. He whirled around, brigning his saber up, and striking. Starjammer blocked the blade with the chain connecting his lightsabers. Tho'un's blade flickered and died. Starjammer pressed something on his lightsaber. The blade changed, turning red, and becoming larger, but Tho'un was not done yet. As the blade came at him, he lifted his hands, pushing Starjammer back and sending a wave of lightning at him. Starjammer cried out and was launched again, landing near his ship. Tho'un retrieved his saber and activated it, walking towards the fallen inquisitor. The inquistor rose quickly, pushing Tho'un away with the force. Tho'un landed and heard a whining sound. He stood as the Firespray lifted off, and flew into the void.

Re: RPG: Age of Skywalker

Mi'kal was creeping through the hallway when the sounds of lightsabers igniting perked his ears.  He followed the humand clash until he came upon two dueling each other.  And this was a no holds barred match.  Staying out of eyesight he followed them into a hanger.  Finally the confrontation ended and a ship shot out of the hanger.  The Mustarfarian made his way out and stopped when he saw Mi'kal standing in the entrance lightsaber in a reverse grip.  Without a word Mi'kal launched himself at the force-user in a flurry of attacks.  The Sith Master managed to block all of these taking no time at all to learn how to defend the unorthodox style Mi'kal used.

Mi'kal was not prepared as the Mustafarian came at him with a barrage of his own.  Finally with a flick of his wrist he disarmed Mi'kal and summoned Mi'kal's lighsaber.  Mi'kal was about to have his head sliced off.  His mind racing he came up with a last ditch attempt at survival.

Mi'kal dropped to the ground on one knee head bowed.

"I sense you are a great and powerful Sith.  I am but a Sith apprentice and I wish to serve under you if it would so please you my master."

This was a gamble as he didn't even know if this man was a sith.

Re: RPG: Age of Skywalker

Tanis and Shiv watched as Lumiya's Force pressence exploded from her as she fought. There was no questioning she was a Sith now.

Tanis nodded to Shiv and they walked into the corridor. They both ignited their lightsabers, yet stood at bay. Shiv looked to Tanis confused.

"Let them finish themselves off. We can't take any chances where we are right now." Tanis whispered to him.

The fight was one of the most interesting Tanis had ever observed. Lumyia's attacks and parrys looked like a dance, while the robot's fighting looked inhuman. It was two completely different styles competing.

THE WAYWARD SOUL: EMERGENCY EXIT VECTOR FROM PURSUING PEACEKEEPER FLEET.

I am furious.

I should've seen it coming, but I was blinded by what...ambition? pride?

I had sensed the darkness in Tho'un when we'd first met, assuming that like me he had the ability to keep it in check. No...I was wrong. He was more than tainted by it, he embraced it. Skywalker was foolish to bring him into the ranks so eagerly. I was just as foolish not to at least inform Skywalker of my concerns.

So what now?... I wonder as I weave through the pursuit of Predators at full speed from the Peacekeeper fleet.

I'm sure Inquisitor Tho'un will make a larger grab for power...perhaps not only my position, but Overlord Skywalker's as well...

The shields take a few minor impacts, but Glitch's return fire warns off most of my pursuers. Scratch howls unhappily, no doubt in reaction to my foul mood.

Where to?... I think to myself. I know Skywalker had gone to a secret facility deeper within the Core, but going there would only be more trouble. I have to make sense of things. My only key now is to locate the Mandalorians and Kuat of Kuat. They won't be happy to see me at all...

"Where do we go, Master Starjammer?" Glitch asks.

"Set a course for Mandalore..."
