Re: The Elder Scrolls V: After the Oblivion Crisis

Var'ryk Warbrynger was pleased. Now for the real fight. The surrounding necreomancers looked at the joined party of mages and Knights menacingly as Master Sindarin engaged the lead necromancer, who dispelled the Archmage's lightning attack. At that point, another of the necromancers hurled a fireball at Var'ryk, as he dodged, then swept in at him. His orc strength behind his battleaxe combined with the spell to disintegrate the necromancers armor, severing the surprised target's head.

Another necromancer snarled at him, "G'sharr was weak, and you were fortunate orc. Let's see if you can be twice as lucky."

Var'ryk Warbrynger sized the necromancer up. "My pleasure..."

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: After the Oblivion Crisis

Valthonin was about to join the charge his knights had on the necromancer's when a roar sounded from his left. A trio of undead ogres(can i do that?) was running at him with their arms reaching out, eager to kill Valthonin and feast upon his corpse.

Naturally, that wasn't going to happen.

Valthonin deflected a punch from the first undead ogre with his shield and shoved him off into Sir Gildon, who sliced the ogre's gut open, spilling its contents onto the stone floor.  Sir Forestal and Sir Tel'gru provided cover for the mages and continued the charge. Valthonin blocked another two handed-overhead blow from the secone ogre and ran the Sword of the Crusader up through its chest.

The ogre faltered, but did not die since it was undead after all. Valthonin casted a lightning bolt with his sword hand and it channeled through the sword which was still inside the ogre.

The ogre exploded.

A chunk of undead ogre smacked into the eyes of the third ogre and blinded it. It wiped away at the guts yet it was too late. Valthonin and Sir Gildon(who came up beside Valthonin after hacking the other ogre to pieces) took the opportunity and quickly made the undead ogre resemble ground beef.

Valthonin turned just as a fireball was headed in his direction. He raised his sheild and the fiery orb splashed against the ancient relic shield, and dissipated. Sir Gildon came up behind Valthonin with his bow and launched an arrow at the necromancer that casted the fireball.

The arrow wizzed through the air as the necromancer nearly finished another spell, yet he was interrupted. The arrow smashed through his teeth and came out through the back of his throat. He stared in horror at the arrow sticking out if his mouth.

At that time, Sir Tel'gru and Sir Forestal reached the bunched up necromancers and cut down the necromancer with the arrow in his mouth first.

**Hi Grengan; yeah, taking down a guard is no fun (well, it can be fun, but usually not easy, especially in the early levels  big_smile )

There are many levels in Oblivion, it's just hard to get them started.  Different and better versions of armor and weapons will start to show up as you advance.  Joining a quest that forces you to gain expericnce is always a good way to start picking up levels, just remember to exersize you primary 7 skills and to get training between each level if you want a truly powerful character later.

For future reference, this is an active RPG based on Obivion, not a disscusion topic.  General conversation on Obivion/Elder Scrolls is here:   http://www.bobafett.com/boards/viewtopic.php?id=1799

Glad if anybody wants to join  *COUGHgrenganHINT*.  Also more then happy to offer help/comments on the game, but those would be better posted at the other tread so as not to distract from the RPG at hand *even is it is slow right now tongue *

Will post for both my characters soon**

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: After the Oblivion Crisis

Guards were messing around, until the inhuman roar. It had been a while since they had last heard of some beasts like that, not eversince the barrier came back up. The guard named Yeyak scratched on the scar that was across his face, from just below his left eye and to the right of nose. The roar reminded him of the Daedra that tackled him, it was like no other Daedras, Yeyak was sure the Daedric silver-werewolf was a unique individual with superior powers compared to the minions. More images of memory flashes in his head, how lucky he was that a powerful priest walked by and saved him before his head was cut opened...

"Guys, I got that thing handled...you guys go on, I'll be back within minutes." He whispered to the others. Yeyak always wanted revenge, of course, it might be something else but it will be an accomplishment.

"Sure you don't want someone else with ya?" Some else asked, but Yeyak had his back turned by then and was already running towards to scene. Not wasting time at all, chasing after it...

Lucifer knew this means trouble, while the humans were still shivering and stunned. He quickly drew his blade, and started slaughter any human nearby that could be a witness. There was no mercy, blood flew everywhere as Lucifer laughed with joy. The delight of bloodshed had finally came to him, but it was never like it was before...why? There was one thing that's in the way...and it's the same that's keeping him away from being his same old self again...it was humanity. He'll never be the same as he was before.

Yeyak continued running, then finally he came to this point where human blood was painted everywhere. The bodies lied everywhere, it seems they were trying to escape, but whoever did this gave no mercy and cut them up in pieces. Although he had been a guard for a long time, he had never seen something like this, even Yeyak felt a disgusting feeling in his guts. Then he noticed this hole in this man's chest with the edges of the hole melted inwards, he was wondering why the man died more painfully than others and he saw the pickaxe in the man's hands. So the thing had killed people with weapons immediately with some neat tricks, that would meant it's scared of weapons and it can kill it. He found a man who stood---no, a young boy in around his 20s stood in the center of the bodies, laughing with joy. The boy had silver hair, and a sword in his hands. His eyes jerked from side to side as if a predator searching for prey that's hidden in the shadows, the delight of slaughter slowly faded, and his mouth was turned into horrible grimace.

Lucifer finally spotted the guard, and quickly got cool down and regain sanity. By the time he spotted Yeyak, it was too late to block the incoming assault, he ducked and nearly fell on the ground and quickly tried to grab for the guard's head. Yeyak jumped backwards, lunged back at Lucifer who just bearly dodged it as the blade cut him just across his face. Yeyak knew that could be his only chance, with all his strength on his fist, he punched Lucifer in the guts and send him almost flying into a tree behind him. Lucifer licked on the blood on his cheeks, by the time he looked back up he was revealing his Daedric side. His eyes were blood red instead of white, his hand was curling inwards as if the bones were twisted into a claw, his nails turned black claws. Before Yeyak could react, Lucifer ran up to him, dropped his sword and assaulted with his claws like an animal. His claws scarred the armor with five lines across it, then with incredible strength he sent Yeyak flying back with a punch as he found Yeyak was still alive, he decided enough was enough. He picked up his sword and slowly turned back into his normal human form.

Yeyak watched as he his shadow turned into an oval, and Lucifer was slowly sinking into it, dissapearing into his shadow. Yeyak quickly looked around---nothing, the boy was gone. Then at the instant he was about to leave, a sword was held from behind, and slit his throat opened. Lucifer had enjoyed it, he stole some new clothes from a shop, changed into it, and got rid of the clothes painted with blood. Then quickly ran away into a dark alley...

That night, Lucifer's desire for bloodshed had increased, Lucifer acted like an idiot and roared again and tried to attraction. Obviously, people had noticed the amount of people that had died, so they had more people guarding the city, even some squads of knights were sent out. So things worked out a little different.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: After the Oblivion Crisis

Captain erathorn and his 7 legionaires rode out of the imperial city, later than expected thanks to some 'frolicking' in the tiber septim hotel.

The imperial legion detachment where to ride to an imperial legion outpost in the west weald, near skingrad. where he would link up with the rest of his force.

Erathorn had purchased a spear. an ebony silver one. it was expensive but it would let him charge on his horse. the rest of his riders had silver spears. they where the dragon knights of the imperial legion. the elite of the elite some said. there cavalry skills unrivaled.
Erathorn slowed down raising his fist to halt his riders. they lowered the spears and got into the arrowhead formation, erathorn drew out his bow and notched an arrow, bringing back the string he released it, the arrow sped at its target, which was a bandit ring leader, with his other cronies. the arrow missed!
the shaman twisted his head to the shadowy riders, and its eyes widened.....8 horses stood, silently.

Erathorn had no time to get his spear from where he strapped it from his horse so he drew out his blade and raised it, as the horse stood on its two back legs,

"leave none standing! Charge! HUZARHH!!!!"

"HUZZARH!!!" his riders called out after him
the horses sped at there targets, they were struck from the side, with little preperation they tryed to draw there axes and blades, but the oncoming charge was to much, the horses struck violently into the side of the party, Erathorn beheading the bandit leader with one fell cleave. the rest of the cavalry impaled there targets. one was left standing

"run now little one, but if i catch you i will kill you" the bandit ran.

Erathorn pointed to his rider next to him who had raised his bow with an arrow notched....erathorn lowered his hand. the rider let the arrow go......the bandit fell to his knees, Erathorn got off his horse and approached him...bandits will not be allowed to survive, you know that. he took his sword up with two hands and swung, beheading the bandit.

"riders! we ride to the outpost of talos! lets go!"

I am the Hammer. I am the sword in His hand, I am the point of His spear. I am the Gauntlet about His fist. I am the Bane of His foes and the woes of the treacherous. I am the End.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: After the Oblivion Crisis

“There is much unrest in the Empire.  The fall of the Imperial line and the Blades, the departure of the Champion, and further turmoil in the provinces.  If we act with skill, we can increase our power ten-fold” said the clan leader from Anvil.  A young upstart, the youngest of the ruling body, Master Thren was also perhaps the most aggressive.

“Perhaps” mused Hassildor.  “Or perhaps see everything we have be destroyed.  We must be wary of the enemies who have risen in place of those that are gone.  The Order of the Nine has risen again.  They have declared war on our kind, and will be a thorn in our side until dealt with.

“A small band of pragmatic knights is what’s bothering you??  They mean nothing to us or our plans; it’s our lesser, animal minded kin they hunt anyway” growled Thren.

Ralin spoke for the first time during the meeting.  “True, but this lord……Lord Valthonin, who is now the Holy Crusader.  He has in many ways taken the place of the Champion.  By stopping the return of………Umaril” Ralin nearly hissed the name, catching Hassildor’s attention.  “….has brought him to the attention of Chancellor Ocato.  With the Chancellor’s support, the Knight’s of the Nine may become a force to be reckoned with.”

“Ocato is a joke” spat Thren.  “The power of the Empire was with the Emperor’s.  Now that they are gone, it’s only a matter of time before the Elder Counsel is replaced, and a new line of Emperors is chosen.”

“Don’t be so sure.  Ocato is not some pawn to be written off as inept.  The Empire would have already crumbled if not for his leadership; and don’t think he isn’t working to name a new line of Emperors……..his own line.”

“You give Ocato too much credit.  We have a path to POWER here!  Altimate power of Cyrodiil, even all Tamriel!”

“Your hunger for power is outweighing your mind” Hassildor retorted.  “Remember your place.”

Thren leaned back into his seat, but was obviously not content with the situation.  The meeting drifted to the more basic affairs of the Vampire nation, and finally came to a close for the evening.

Many of the elders retired to their chambers, some to they’re waiting human pets for a meal and amusement.  Ralin returned to the upper blood works.  It had been some time since he had hunted the Imperial City.  His powers of mind manipulation usually made it dull and uninteresting, but it was time to see the surface.  He had been too long away from his pray.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: After the Oblivion Crisis

Even when Lucifer was being surrounded, he was able to let out a grin. [i] What's life without fights? [i/] he thought to himself. A couple of knights cried out some sort of war cry and charged at him. He quickly transform his right hand into it's original daedric form, with all the powers he have left, that's the best he can do at the moment. Suddenly, at the corner of his eyes, he thought he saw a shadowy, unclear figure flashed by. That made Lucifer a little distracted, but he was still able to block off their attacks. He shoves a knight out of the way with his left hand, leaving the knight on his feet. Then  Lucifer quickly grabbed another knight's head and bashes it hard against the wall. Blood oozed out of his head, which seems like it's a part of the wall now.

Quickly killing a few knights, showing off his skills, and taking one of their swords doesn't do much when you're being connered against the wall by dozens squads of knights and guards. More of them tried to advance towards Lucifer, but before they made the step forward, he growled like a beast and starred at his prey. Lucifer charged forward the knights, one of them tried to close up and engage in combat, and was rewarded with his head facing the guard behind him. The blade in his left hand flashed from side to side, randomly hitting guards and knights without even looking at them. He decided this would be a good time to reveal some of his Nightblade skills and his magical powers while he still can.

He grabbed a knight by his neck and placed his left "normal" hand on to his face, the knight struggled as the burning had was melting through his armor and deforming his face. Soon, the knight's head burned on fire but Lucifer still refused to let go. Lucifer laughed with joy as he saw the face on the mortals' faces, but then it was too late to realize continue enjoying the joy was a mistake. One of the guards were in tears, screaming as if he was the one twas killed. [i] Foolish human [i/] Lucifer almost smiled at that thought, but then suddenly, he noticed the shadowy, mysterious figure was still there. Being distracted by the mysterious figure that had been watching him, the guard was able to stab his sword into his right shoulder.

Lucifer growled with rage, then quickly grabbed the man's hand so he couldn't let go of the blade or pull it back out. The guard felt as an electricity current shoot out from the sword. Because Lucifer's right arm had lost the ability to fight, he quickly transfered the daedric powers to his left hand. He pulled out the sword, then threw it out of the way. Lucifer punched the shocked guard in the guts, he fell back flat on the floor. The guard was still concious, so he watched as Lucifer slowly squash his face with his foot. The others were afraid of Lucifer, but then a thought came through their mind. If Lucifer could be damaged by their weapons, that means they can kill him! They all charged forward towards him, Lucifer resisted most of the attacks, but was cutted badly all over. With all the powers left, he focused his magicka on his hand. He slammed his hand on to the ground hard, everyone felt an electricity pulse shot up from the ground and into their feet. They weren't damaged by the attack, but their legs were stunned. With one hand, he dug his daedric hand into the wall and started climbing upwards.

Lucifer knew he was losing too much blood, with his high acrobatic skills, he jumped from one building to the other. Until finally they couldn't see him anymore. He was able to climb on to the tip of a clock tower, he rested leaning to the other side of the clock. From here, he can tell the way to the woods, where he can hide away until he get his strength back. [i] It's just a little to the south of this tower [i/] then he realized he couldn't jump, his legs were too tired and his vision was starting to blurred out. He tried to refocus his eyes, but by then he found himself looking at the clock tower, which seems to be getting really far way. That was when he realized he dropped from the tower, but then he felt the pain of falling flat on the floor. He was inches away from death and he knew it, he felt half the bones in the body broke, the only reason he haven't died yet is because of his high acrobatic skills. Then with his blurred vision, he thought he saw the shadowy figure was starring at him, but then his eyes blacked out.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: After the Oblivion Crisis

NAME: Drakor Vasavium

SPECIES AND GENDER: Male High Elf

AGE: 82

AFFILIATION/OCCUPATION: Wizard highly interested in the dark arts i.e. necromancy etc... (however no characters know of this interest/obsession) Looking for vacancies in magic guilds

CLASS: Dark Wizard: Destruction, Restoration, Illusion, Conjuration, Alteration, Mysticism, Light armor.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Very rarely uses physical means of combat, if so he employs a longsword that is concealed beneath his cloak.

MAGIC ABILITIES: Uses high level destructive magic, has a particular preference to lightning spells, often causing devastating lightning storms and elimating several opponents.

WEAPONS: Concealed daedric longsword (rarely used) and magical abilities.

ARMOR/APPEARANCE: Dons a black cloak that disguises most of his face. He is relatively tall, around 6'0" and has an aged appearance about him, this appearance is VERY decieving however as he is a very powerful wizard.

SHORT HISTORY/PERSONALITY: He is a charismatic man, capable of bending people to his will, if this is impossible, for example it is a very strong-minded mage, he will gladly resort to using devastating destructive magic, showing no mercy in the process. Little is known about his history, but I have a feeling it shall be revealed sooner or later...

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: After the Oblivion Crisis

Nazg dodged another fireball from Varen.  Fortunately Varen must have warned everyone not to intervene.

"Varen look around you!  My fellow mages are destroyng your forces.  We have you outnumbered."

Varen smiled maliciously.

"You think so Nazg?  Think again.  Tannaeus!"

Nazg braced himself for the other necromancers sure to follow. But nothing came.

"See Varen?  Even your members have deserted you.  Please.  Stop this."

"Never!"

Varen released a final blast of fire.  Nazg threw as thick as an ice shield as he could muster.  Varen seeing the ice was melting only increased his heat.  In one final blast he blew the ice to shreds.  Everyone in the room looked to the confrontation.

"You were nothing Nazg.  I was always one up."

"I wouldn't be so sure Varen."

Nazg materialized out from behind Varen with his Ebony sword already in downstroke.  Varen stopped for a second and looked at the long gash across his chest which was crackling with electric energy.  He collapsed to the ground blood pooling on the ground.

All the other necromancers dropped any weapons and all summoned creatures dissappeared.

"Take them."

The knights and mages took the remaining necroes and bound them.  As they marched outside Nazg noticed a figure slinking out of the cave entrance.

"You there!  Stop!"

(That's you MA.))

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: After the Oblivion Crisis

The battle was bloody, yet quick. It didn't take long to get the other necromancers to surrender once the Archmage defeated their leader. Var'ryk was a bit dissapointed. He found it difficult sometimes to satisfy his lust for combat. He hadn't even noticed the stranger, when the Archmage called out,

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: After the Oblivion Crisis

Drakor sighed, it had been a long time since he had last been in the Imperial City, a long time since he had been in Cyrodil in fact. He drew his hood further over his face, he did not wish anyone to know of him for the time being, he had made too many enemies during his previous visits.

He strolled through the west gate and into the Talos Plaza District, the city had changed little since his last visit and, if his memory served him correctly, the Tiber Septim hotel would be appearing on his right hand side any second now. His memory had not faltered and sure enough a wooden sign swung over the door on his right reading 'The Tiber Septim Hotel', he pushed open the door and proceeded into the lobby.

A woman named Augusta Calidia greeted him at the desk. "Welcome friend to the Tiber Septim Hotel, I am Augusta Calidia, your hostess." Augusta's greeting was polite and almost joyful, but Drakor did not crack a smile. "I would like a room, if you do not mind hostess," he replied. Augusta faltered, she had not expected such a cool reply, after a second she said. "Yes, one has just become available, how long will you be staying in the Imperial City?"

Drakor took out a small brown bag of gold coins from the depths of his black cloak, he did not answer Augusta immediately, choosing to count out the coins instead. His memory was indeed as sharp as ever, despite his age, he had remembered exactly how much one night would cost him. After placing 40 gold coins onto the desk he said, "How long I will remain in the Imperial City, I believe, is none of your business. How long I will stay in this hotel however is one night."

Augusta was stunned by his frankness, but accepted the coins with gratitude. "The room is first door on your right," she replied pointing to a staircase behind Drakor.
"I was already aware of that fact, but my thanks nonetheless," and with that he turned and proceeded up the stairs and into his temporary accomodation.

It had not been long since Drakor had rented the room when a knock came on the door. He pushed away his dinner and walked towards it, for some unknown reason still holding his fork. He pulled the door open a little and asked, "Who is it?"
"Open the door and I will tell you," came a voice, it was male and quite young too, Drakor wagered a guess at around twenty, maybe younger. "Fair enough," he replied, bracing himself for any hostilities that may occur. The door swung open, revealing three men in black robes, the middle one appeared to be the young man who had called through the door, his companions however seemed rather elderly but it was difficult to tell due to the black hoods that were drew over their heads.

"...And who might you three be?" Drakor asked, readying his mind for the release of destructive magic.
"Greetings fellow magic-wielder, we are representatives of the society of necromancy in Cyrodil and we have come to you with an offer." The young necromancer in the middle of the party recieved a rap on the head for his eagerness, the others glanced around, no doubt searching for eavesdroppers. Drakor let out a small chuckle and then his face set once again.

"How did you find me, do you know of my identity?" he asked, the question puzzled him as he was sure he had covered his tracks rather well, apparently not. "Oh we have our sources." The elderly necromancer to the right started. "You are Drakor Vasuvium, are you not?" Drakor considered this for a moment, this is event truly was a surprise, the necromancer's society must be growing if it was capable of locating him. "Very well, what exactly is this offer of yours?" he asked, knowing full well what this offer would be.

"Our master heard of your arrival in Cyrodil and he extends a great offer to you, he invites you to join our society!" The young one replied, anticipation flowed from him with each syllable.
"I am sorry but I must decline your 'great offer', I do not and never have wished to deal with necromancers such as yourselves and I bid you good night," Drakor knew this would not be the end of the matter. "You shall join us or die!" spat the young necromancer, reaching into his cloak no doubt for a weapon of some kind.

Drakor was too quick for them however and he swiftly pulled his fork up to head height and, in a burst of inspiration, sent powerful shockwaves of electrical energy through it. The energy bounced off the points of the fork and struck the three necromancers with such a force that they crashed into the opposite wall. Drakor calmed himself, he had used far too much power for three representatives. He closed the door.

The trio of necromancers lay dead at the base of the wall.

"It is clear that this contest cannot be decided by our knowledge of the force, but by our skills with a lightsaber."

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: After the Oblivion Crisis

Drac froze.  He had thought that he was safe from detection.  He thought wrong.  With a grimace, he turned his hooded face to the mage who had addressed him.

"What do you want with me?" He asked, tensing, and reaching slowly for one of his throwing knives, just in case.

"What is your business here!  Speak man!"

"My business is my own."

"Speak or suffer the consequences.  Only a cowardly necromancer would be slinking through the caves.  So you would be all the wiser to talk or I shall be forced to interrogate you."  A dangerous light filled the cavern as a fireball grew on Nazg's hand.

"So I ask again.  What is your business?"

Drac smiled.  "Better men than you have tried...and failed.  And as for my being a necromancer, well, that is impossible.  I cannot stand the stench of death."  He smiled slightly at this.  Given what he actually was, this was ironic.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: After the Oblivion Crisis

It's dark, and humid. "There must be a bunch of them down there, be ready.", Xanaan said, not much more than a whisper at Linnea's ear. She nods briefly, sword in hand. The first few enemies coming towards them are killed quickly, and after shooting a few deadly poison arrows to the next ones, Xanaan begins her incantations to summon a few undeads for help. They won't be too many against this bunch of madmen. They want more, fine, may their heads get cooled down by some nasty little ice spells.

It was really a question of a few minutes in the tunnel, but they'll probably get more of them soon. Staring at Linnea, Xanaan exchanged an appreciative look for a short moment. Spells and ranged attacks are always good, but Xanaan was glad to have that worthy melee fighter on their side.

More enemies are already coming from the lower level where the tunnel is leading. The rest of their group will probably merge with them there. Just as well. It's about time they got their hand on something shiny.

Cast iron and treadmills? Oh yes. Still sculpting me to what I really want to be, and I love it. :)

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: After the Oblivion Crisis

Valthonin stepped forth up next to Nazg. He cast a light spell that illuminated the entire Aeylid room as well as the man who had been sneaking about.

"Excuse me, but you are in no position to simply go about your way after our party just defeated a score of necromancers in this ruin. We have no reason to take your word that you are not in league with these now dead necromancers. I will repeat the Arch-mage's words once more: What is your business here?" Valthonin said.

With that his three knights walked past the Divine Crusader and flanked the unknown man. They didn't pout their swords to his neck, they simply stood at attention.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: After the Oblivion Crisis

Drac sneered.  "My business is my own.  But I will say that you were not the only ones slaying necromancers this day.  Other people have to make a living somehow.  Now, if you please?  I have places to be.  Unless you have an offer for me, I will take my leave."

Drac fingered his throwing knives, decided against it, and straightened.  Beneath his leather armour, he felt the pointed end of the necromancer's necklace dig into his gut.  Unconsciously, he winced, and then paled.  Showing weakness like that, especially in front of a prospective enemy was a big "no-no".  He just hoped they hadn't noticed...And that they were busy deciding what to make of him.

Due to maintenance problems, the light at the end of the tunnel will not be in operation today.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: After the Oblivion Crisis

YES!  Be Shocked!  Be Awed!  I am posting on my own RPG!  Sorry for the MUCH too long a wait, I’ve been busy and short on inspiration.  Will try to be here much more if anybody still wants to post.  Thanks

*Edit*

I’ve edited my Drakus profile for anybody who’s keeping track.  I changed my Claymore from a slightly altered Ebony blade to a very large black steel sword that I downloaded for my game.  Also, I now carry two steel axes; one like the in-game steel war-axe, another that’s a ‘bearded’ axe like the Vikings used.  Will post pics when I get a chance.

Drakus

Drakus looked back over his shoulder at the sound of Kes going down from an arrow in his shoulder.  The shot came from the large training room ahead.  There must have been nearly 20 marauders in the large, open room.  Looks like a good spot to change weapons…  Sheathing his Daedric longsword and moving his Orcish shield to his back, Drakus pulled his massive black steel claymore out.  Hefting it with both hands, he led the charge down the stone steps into the training room.   Hacking and slashing through the defenders, Drakus and the others quickly drove the survivors down the corridor that led to the fort’s lowest levels.  On one side, a hole dug into the side of the chamber promised the first plunder of the day.  But as always, the best stuff would be in the deepest, least accessible level.

Replacing his claymore again as soon as the training room and it’s connected storage room had been cleared with his steel war axe and shield, Drakus led his clan deeper into the fort’s bowels.  Coming to a small bridge that spanned a lower level, several marauders began firing arrows from the other side.  Several of Drakus’s men charged across the makeshift bridge, which was partially spanned by wooden planks.  As they stepped on the planks, they broke, revealing the trap the marauder’s had set.  Two of Drakus’s men fell to the waiting spike-trap below.  Another fell forward and was holding onto the stone bridge on the other side, but caught an arrow from the marauders and fell.  Drakus whipped out his own bow and with several other archers picked off the marauders.  With a great leap, Drakus then jumped to the other the gap in the bridge.  A few other good jumpers followed, while the rest ran back the other way and followed Xanaan’s path.

Creeping down the dark corridor, the sound of battle became more audible.  Xanaan and her party were getting close.  Moving toward the treasure room, two frightened guards nervously stood by their post.  Drakus stood from the shadows and boldly walked right across from the door they were guarding.  As they realized that the man before them was not one of theirs, they were jumped by the others who had followed Drakus.

Walking toward the sounds of battle, Drakus turned a corner and saw the marauder leader barking out orders to the last of his defenders.  A big Nord wearing mostly Orcish armor, and marauder leader wasn’t giving up.  Drakus was halfway down the stone steps leading to the marauder when the leader saw Drakus.  Quickly pulling out his sword, the Marauder king glared up at the intruder.  “YOU’LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE!”

“I personally don’t want you at all; only what you possess.  Surrender and you and what’s left of your men can walk out of here.”

“NEVER!” bellowed the Marauder as he started to charge up the steps.  He hadn’t even taken his second step before Drakus’s steel war-axe had been thrown and caught the charging warrior between the eyes.

The clash of swords and shields quickly died after.  Xanaan and Linnea walked up and inspected Drakus’s work.

“The treasure room is just behind me” he said.  “Let’s not take all day cleaning it out…..”

Ralin Vahkure

Damn he’s heavy thought Ralin as he stepped down the steel ladder into the sewers, the bleeding warrior tightly held in one arm.  Ralin’s powerful Vampire strength had allowed him to break the…….creature’s fall from the tower.  It was all that saved him from death.

If he’s saved.  If he’s not cared for quickly no power on Nirn will save him thought Vahkure as he stopped and made a quick check of the………man.  Or whatever creature he was.  The red, clawed hand that was still formed on him looked almost……But is that possible??  I must learn more from him

Using the strongest healing spells he knew, Ralin bought some more time for the badly beaten man.  Must get him to a real healer he thought.  Continuing toward the Blood Works, Ralin wondered what he was getting into……

Here ya go RC.  Sorry to you to for the long wait, even after I said I’d post this a few days ago.  Stuff came up and I couldn’t find my words for the post.  But here it is…..finally

"You set a code to live by.  I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted...I won't be laid a hand on.  I don't do these things to other men, and I require the same from them."

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: After the Oblivion Crisis

Thanks, it's alright anyway. Ok...so...here it goes.

Lucifer slowly tried to open his eyes, then realized the lost of blood made his vision blurred out. He tried feeling some of his wounds, some of the cuts had a layer of new skin on it, while blood still oozed out of the other wounds. Lucifer cursed under his breathe as he remembered the fact that he doesn't know one single healing spell. As he was cursing, he felt the air was pulled out of his lungs by brutal force, so he decided to stop murmuring to himself.

More than he ever wished, he hoped that he could somehow bring back some of his Daedric powers back. If one of his old Daedric skills recovered, he might recover faster from the wounds. He tried remembering how it feels to use some of his powers, before he was half-human, he could see when and how one will die by a simple eye contact. He locked his eyes on to his reflection of his blade on his belt, and tried concentrating, nothing happened. Focused all the strength he had on his eyes, he kept them wide opened with concentrated daedric power. He watches his own reflection as his eye turned red and the inner eyeballs turned yellow, and beast-like.

Lucifer saw glimpses of himself dying in a bloody battle, the sky was overshadowed by blood red clouds, and the ground was burning on black flame. The vision also shows blades sticking out of his body, and his hands were burning on fire. Then the vision slowly gotten a little blurry, the vision was swirling around Lucifer. Unimaginable pain striked Lucifer in the eye, he screamed in agony but not willing to close his eyes. He NEEDS to see more. But by then the vision was already swirling around and was impossible to figure out what the image was trying to show. He shut his eye, and was unconcious again.

*Place left thumb on the right side of my neck and perform a throat-slitting motion* You're gonna die in seven days!

Supposedly they have already killed them all, but there is still the possibility that there is some left.

yes i used reference to a mod but i've not taken items :D

now for my opening/begining of Leon Andercliff

____
Leon stood staring at the sunrise, thinking about everything he had come accross that night. he learned much, but didnt quite understand it all. Why did Vampires roam during the night, why do day walkers use their power evilly, why do people insist on destroying temples and killing gods, why anything. now a different question came to mind. "where am i from?" he said to himself. Leon walked to the Imperial City trading district to shop for armor, in the Best Defense is where you get better deals on armor. as he eyed a piece of steel, a man in a red cloak kicked the door in and shouted at Leon. "YOU KILLED THEM!" he said. at this point Leon was confused, he hadn't killed anyone. "YOU KILLED THEM ALL YOU BASTARD!"
"i havent killed anyone, what are you talking about?" was his answer
"No, you did. you and your thing killed the Vampires in a cave south of here, i had finally gotten the cure you idiot!"
"oh... yes sorry.."
"sorry isnt good enough, i cant take mere worrds and forgive that, no i'll have to take more. i'm taking your life!" said the stranger pulling a dagger from his sheath. he lunged at Leon and stabbed him in the left right above the hip and then ran. Leon fell to the ground gasping for air, and then blacked out.

after a couple hours he awoke in the inn in the talos district. no one was around, no thing was in the room, no noise came from the downstairs. there was nothing around him, nothning but silence, so he just went back to sleep.
____

now for Stahn...

Stahn sat in Leyawiin wandering where the Lordes might be hiding, even though he hasnt heard anything from them in over ten years he knows there has to be more. maybe they went back to Seingald. after two long hours he stood and walked to the tavern to grab a drink. there was a woman wearing a red robe and hood looking at him in a suspicious way. he waited for a man named Vel to come. "dont say a thing" he told Vel, "follow me outside. this person is following me, i saw her everywhere i've been today." Stahn got up and walked to the door, the woman did the same. Vel followed her out. "why are you following me?" Stahn asked as he shoved her against the tavern wall. her reply was nothing. "why?!" he demanded fingering his sword handle.
"you're Stahn Airelon are you not?" she said
"aye, i am. why are you following me" he asked a third time
"Leon Andercliff is dead"
"who? what? what are you talking about lady?"
"you dont know him? Rutie said that you two where related."
"Rutie? she knows nothing about me."
"Rutie Andercliff, she knows more than you."
"Who are you!" Stahn demanded unsheathing his sword.
"my name is not of your concern, you have two more questions, pick them wisely."
"okay, who is Rutie?"
"Leon's sister, she sent me to tell you Leon Andercliff is dead."
"now, who am I?"
"good choice, but i am affraid your too late." she said disappearing little by little
"WAIT!" Stahn said desperately and angerly. the answer to his questions had vanished.
"Sir Stahn, look at that." Vel said. Stahn looked down at a note..

it read.

"The Mythic Dawn has the answers to your questions. meet us in the imperial City Talos District sewers. Leon Andercliff, Rutie Andercliff, You, Vellandar Halgaren, and many more are seeking answers. this is your one chance to meet your friends and get the answers."
___

its a bit long, maybe too long, it seems to be more of a story...
...oh well, it will fit into the current story, barely.
if not i will make it fit, because i am manly... sort of
