Exelent point. Also, it was just a hug, they dont nessicarily mean anything, A freind of mine hugged me on.........thursday i think, but I dont take it as a sign that she is intrested in me. So dont nessicarrily assume that she likes the guy

Sounds like she's a gal that you are better off with out actually. Seems to me like you deserve a girl with more sense. I just hope she doesn't end up in an abusive relationship or getting seriously hurt. Technically the age difference might not be legal either. Find your self someone who is actually worthy.

I think you can date someone at basically any age with parent consent, but marriage varies per state.

My fiancee is 9 1/2 years older than me. I'm 21 and he's 30. But he seems a lot younger, and he says I seem older. When we first met I thought he was about 24 and he thought I was about 25.
