Is it best to just order Sintra off the web instead of searching for it in stores? I haven't really had the time to search, so I was just thinking about ordering it...
The BFFC boards will be changing soon. Take a look at the brand-new pages and start using the new version now. You can also contact us with any feedback or requests.

What's Sintra?
It's a material that can be used to make things like armor. I don't know much about it but I've heard the word used mainly in costuming threads that talk about armor and stuff.
As for Wook, try here: http://boards.theforce.net/costuming_an … /b10019/p1 They might have better answers.
www.thedentedhelmet.com is a good site for making costumes and such (they specialize in Fett). If you wana have fun, just refresh the page over and over, it's a different costume every time.
Oh, you mean this is something that's real, that you use for costuming. Not something that's made up?
I think I'm moving this one to the CREATIVE FORUM, since it's dealling with costuming.
How Can I Get A Boba Fett Helmet?????!!!!!!!!!!???????????
Do you want a screen accurate helmet or something for a few $$?
both!
i'd pay up to...$30-35, probably...
Best your gonna be able to do is a Rubies boba or jango helmet for around $60 or so off ebay. Unless you want to make yourself a helmet from scratch.
thanks, man.
oh, and who wants a "Jango helmet"?
not me!
You can always repaint the Jango helmets, Jodo. They don't come with dents already molded in them.
are Jango helmets cheaper?
Not really. They're both about the same. They actually have the Jango ones on the StarWarsShop.com

The Boba Fett one's are a little harder to find. However, you can find fan made versions that are not painted and are more accurately detailed and proportioned than the generic ones made by Rubies. The Rubies ones are usually cheaper, though. If you want to "accurize" the Rubies version, there are different kit parts you can purchase for it. Replacement range finders, t-visors, decals, that kind of thing. The Dented Helmet and The Mandalorian Mercs sites are good places of reference to get info about all that.

Mando Mercs: http://mercs.firespray.net/
Hope that helps, dude.
thanks, now i have to save $60.
*sigh...*
oh, well...
I was checking out this website today. They finally added a Bounty Hunters page with armor pieces on it.

Here's the main page for the costumes. They don't have just Star Wars, either. Never heard of or bought anything from these people before, so I don't really know how good their product is, but man, they sure do have a lot of props and kits.

I wish the pictures worked better on their site, though. A lot of the product pics they have don't work on their website, and I've tried viewing it on Firefox, Netscape, and IE browsers. Anyone ever purchase anything from these guys before?
i'm gonna ask for a Boba Fett helmet for Christmas!
(along with a digital camera that can record video and a DELL laptop!)
I have like £27/28.77 at home for saving up to go to Japan.
i only have a Wal-Mart gift card and maybe a Books-A-Million card as well.
whee.
cool, you millionaire, woot!
I would advise against Star Fortress productions. Their armor needs ALOT of work when you get it. If you get Boba Fett colored armor, the colors they use are WRONG WRONG WRONG! You pay alot of money and don't get a good product back.

I'd like to see about pricing for a suit like the Collonial marines in Aliens, or one like the marines from Halo. or
you don t even have to buy armor ive made my armor it was a breeze (exept the gauntletit took me 5 days to build that thing).poster board works good thats what i used for my mandalorian armor...
