I'm a big fan of the His Dark Materials trilogy.
The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice... I think those are pretty good. (Particularly Blackwood Farm and The Vampire Lestat.)
I've gotten to liking James Reese. (He's similar to Anne Rice.)
I typically go for horror/ historical novels... And of course, the Star Wars based books. And I also own a few of the Buffy-verse books.
The Telisman by Stephen King was great.

As of now my favorite books are the Boba Fett series, The Blind Assasin, and my collection of vegan/vegetarian cookbooks.
have any of you taken the time to read the Foundation series by Issac Asimov? Everything that I read before it was forgotten and everything after pales in comparison ( except mabey Memnoch The Devil by Ann Rice)
