Boba isn't dead,I take granded that he escaped the Sarlacc Pit.
I'm pretty sure there's a topic open already on this...
I do not think it was the best exit from the film but he was only supposed to be an incidental character so I suppose GL thought that it did not matter at the time.
I am glad it happened as it did as it gave Boba the chance to escape (like DMC I do not think of Boba dying in the film just falling into the Sarlacc) The galaxy would not be as interesting without Boba lurking around.

Instead of making new threads, let's just use the ones we have all ready.
Well mine is a bit different. This is how what you think of his apparent death in ROTJ. Mine is just speculation on how he will die later on.
BOBA DIDNT DIE IN THE SARLACC please total denial is the only way i can go on.
Comics, books, video games, etc. are not one-hundred percent canon, so he may have died.
i have to agree BobaFett243, i think for such a cool character to die that way is criminal.
It just makes me wince to watching it, cause it seems like a comedy sketch. Such a tough kickass bounty hunter taken out by a half-blind guy with a stick. What was Lucas thinking!! Ah well at least the EU brings him back
Boba didn't die. He just fell into a pit for a week.
Still, his exit from the rest of the film was bull crap.
Lucas was on pot when he made that scene.
Comics, books, video games, etc. are not one-hundred percent canon, so he may have died.
not all of them are
but some of them have gotten the GL stamp
that makes fetts survival thru the sarlacc canon
Boba didnt die he got out...come on man read some books
As much as I feel Boba's being dead is a bunch of poppycock, I agree with The Chosen One that had GL intended it to be his death he picked a lame means of doing so.
boba isint dead!! And the books are canon, if they wherent whats the point in righting them?

someone once told me there is only one answer to every question in the world is...money, not sure how true that is-but that is the answer to, "whats the point to writing those books?"
bobas death-in the sarlacc or in a hammock of old age is subject to change anytime lucas wants.
canon is a very fickle thing in the starwars universe.
he did not in the Sarlacc as a matter a fact he fell in two times and got out, but he live to be around 82, but I forgot how he die I think it was old age?
If you count the books as canon he's not dead yet. Who knows how they are going to explain Boba in Legacy.
In Return of teh Jedi, his death, to me, and apparently to many of you as well, was lame. The toughest hunter in the galaxy dies with a pathetic scream. By a half blind guy with a force pike. Lame and painful. Luckily, Lucas is not above caving to pressure, and the many Fett fans actually managed to convince him to allow Boba to live. Yay!
*Spoiler Warning*
And, Bobaman, in the Legacy of the Force series, he is not only in his 80's, but he is still perfectly fine, training Jedi to kill their siblings and all. From the looks of it, he will continue on for many many years.
*End of Spoilers*
(If he dies in my lifetime, I will be eternally depressed )
The galaxy would not be as interesting without Boba lurking around.
As true as that statement is, something about the way you said it made me LMAO
actually, last i checked, he's 72 or 73. Not 80 He was about 15 at the end of the clone wars, so 15 older than luke. So in his 70s.
Fett did not die, his escape and survival of the Sarlacc pit are made obvious and well documented in the books Tales of the Bounty Hunters, and The Mandalorian Armor.
UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM yeah, boba fett definately escaped the pitt and then in the book, "bounty hunters," HE LIVES ON!!! BOBA NEVER DIES, I DONT CARE WHAT YOU SAY!!! We love each other and were running away and getting MARRIED- YOU WILL NEVER STOP US!!!
Ahh. So you're one of those fans.
But seriously. Is that first escape in the Marvel comics even considered canon?
