Re: HK-47 vs. IG-88
ig-88 did a pretty poor job of taking over the galaxy. hk-47 didn't really want that, he just wanted to bask in the joy that is wanton slaughter of sloshing meatbags.

Yes but you must still accept the undeniable superiority that is IG-88, fruitbags.

Question: Then why did IG-88 fail his quest in taking over the galaxy?
Statement:And correct me if I'm wrong, meatbags, but IG-88 was also destroyed in the Death Star when the rebels blew it up.
Question: Was HK ever destroyed, meatbags?
Question: Then why did IG-88 fail his quest in taking over the galaxy?
The only way that you could say that that makes him un-superior is if HK-47 tried to conqure the galaxy. Also, IG-88 would have sucseeded in his task if it were not for the rebellion, which he could not have accounted for.

IG-88 knew that the war was going on. He was just un-superior to HK-47 because he didn't account for everything in his plans. That shows that IG-88 isn't as intelligent as HK because HK never made a mistake that big.
Did HK-47 try anything that big.

Well, he did start the Droid Rebellion and survived for more than 4,000 years.
IG-88 was an idiot for taking over the Death Star, period. Even if he HAD successfully brought it under his command, all he would have done was make himself a huge target for the Rebellion AND the Empire, who would have thrown all their resources to stop him. Not to mention the Death Star still probably required some human crew to maintain it.
yeah, taking over the death star? pretty poor planning. not only did the rebels have the plans for it, so did the guys that made it. that would be the empire. ig-88's victory wouldn't have lasted very long.

How could IG have known the rebels plans to throw everything they had at the Imperials? It was not a poor attempt it nearly succeded and if you think about all the droids that were ready to be activated and used for battle they could've had a chance. IG-88 makes huge calculations in seconds hk is nowhere near that smart. Ig could have used droids to man the Death star. If used corrctly IG could've used the Death star to destroy a lage part of the imperial fleet as they would not expect it.

Exactly my point. Even if they did destroy the Death Star, 1: IG-88 could download himself to another body, and 2: He took over many droid factories. Even without the Death Star, you would still have to deal with a lot of droids, so many it could've been a 3 way war: IG-88 army, Empire, and the Rebels.
so the empire would have re-commissioned the grand army. clones'o'plenty! they worked out pretty well the last time they were put up against a droid army.

That's exactly what HK did.
Hk captured a droid factory and spread his droids throuhgt the galaxy and planned to turn them against there owners?

Well first off they need DNA from Boba Fett if you want almost identical results. Secondly, Palpatine stopped using Fett clones a while ago, and there isn't anyone else who would be a better clone template then Jango or Boba. Anyway, that situation you mentioned would be interesting though. Clone Wars 2.....cool.
you don't think that uncle palpy had a supply of jango dna hiding somewhere? or that the kaminoans didn't? after reading through some of the EU stuff, i got the impression that he was something of a pack rat.

Yeah, he did.
Wow sounds like they are running out of ideas if they did exactly the same thing.
Question: So now do we all agree that HK-47 is the superior droid, meatbags?
Opinion: Even if IG is better, HK is still cooler.
Question: Does IG-88 ever say, "Let's find something to kill to cheer ourselves up," meatbags?
I say HK. He's cooler, for one thing (anyone ever downloaded the audio clip of him interrogating an HK-50? Or him mocking the former crew members?) For another, IG-88 is focused on galactic domination. HK is focused on assassination. Therefore, HK has a better mind (?) for combat.

Query: They have a clip of that? Where?
So what if he's cooler IG is a far superior droid its nothing about coolness.
Statement: While inherent "coolness" does nothing for combat ability, HK-47 is a far superior droid due to his use of many different and devious tactics. As opposed to IG-88 whose sole tactic seems to be "Try and blast it and if I die one of my 30 bazillion other copies will finish the job."
hey Kyr'am_Ordo! who is HK-47?.......I've never heard of him before??!
HK-47 is a droid from "Knights of the Old Republic;" a video game. Try searching Google.
